ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this second day of April, 1917.
Present :
THE HONOURABLE W. H. HERRIES PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by subsection one of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is, inter alia, provided that the said section shall not apply in any case where the local authority having control of any road or street by resolution declares that the provisions thereof shall not apply to any specified road or street, or any specified part thereof, and such resolution is approved by the Governor in Council :
And whereas by subsection two of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is provided that such approval may be either absolute or subject to such conditions with respect to the building-line as the Governor by Order in Council thinks fit to impose :
And whereas the Wellington City Council, the local authority having control of the portion of street described in the Schedule hereto, has passed the following resolution—viz., “The Wellington City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Wellington, hereby declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to that portion of Waripori Street in the said city beginning at a point one hundred and two feet from the western side of Adelaide Road and extending to the termination of the said street at the Town Belt . . . . ” :
And whereas it is deemed expedient that such resolution should be approved, subject to the condition hereinafter mentioned :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the above-in-part-recited Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the said resolution, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on either side of the said street within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said street.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of Waripori Street, in the Wellington Land District, City of Wellington, commencing at a point 102 ft. west of the western side of Adelaide Road, and proceeding thence in a westerly direction to its junction with the Town Belt. As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 41888, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red.

Recreation Reserve in Auckland Land District brought under Part II of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908.

THE HONOURABLE W. H. HERRIES PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the twenty-sixth section of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act; and such reserve shall hereafter be known as the Ruakaka Domain; and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain.

SCHEDULE.
RUAKAKA DOMAIN
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, being Allotment 90, Parish of Ruakaka, containing by admeasurement 26 acres 2 roods 24 perches, more or less. Bounded, commencing at peg marked 1, being 538156·8 links north and 139158·6 links west of Mount Eden Trig. Station; towards the east generally by a reserve along the Ruakaka River, 983·8, 418·7, and 1186 links; towards the south by Crown land, 1341·5 and 604·4 links; towards the west generally by a reserve along the Ruakaka River, 601·6, 255, 467·9, 529, and 924·5 links, to the point of commencement.
Also all that area in the Auckland Land District, being Allotment 91, Parish of Ruakaka, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 2 roods 10 perches, more or less. Bounded, commencing at peg marked XIV, being 539507 links north and 138179·7 links west of Mount Eden Trig. Station; towards the north-east and south-east by Crown land, 558·4 and 459·3 links respectively; towards the south-west and north-west by a reserve along the Ruakaka River, 558·4 and 459·3 links respectively, to the point of commencement.
Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same are delineated on plan marked L. and S. 1/594, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Auckland Plan No. 19095.)

Regulation under the Labour Disputes Investigation Act, 1913.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this second day of April, 1917.

THE HONOURABLE W. H. HERRIES PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS it is provided by section eighteen of the Labour Disputes Investigation Act, 1913, that the Chairman of a Labour Disputes Committee under that Act shall be entitled to receive out of the Consolidated Fund such fees as are prescribed by regulations :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of that Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by the said Act in that behalf, doth hereby make the following regulation under that Act.

REGULATION.
THE Chairman of any Labour Dispute Committee under the Labour Disputes Investigation Act, 1913, shall be entitled to receive out of the Consolidated Fund the sum of £2 2s. for every day or part of a day during which he is actually engaged in the investigation of a dispute under that Act, or during which he is actually engaged in travelling to or from the place of sitting of the Committee.
This regulation shall be deemed to have taken effect from the 1st day of February, 1917.
