of Tutuotekaha 2D 1 Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Wairoa on Wednesday, the 18th day of April, 1917, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“ That a lease of the Tutuotekaha No. 2D 1 Block be granted to John Isaac MacAndrew, of Wairoa, farmer, for a term of twenty-one years at a rental not less than 5 per centum per annum of the present valuation of the said land, together with the right to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per centum per annum of the then unimproved valuation of the said land, or with the right to compensation for improvements.”

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Nuhaka 2B 2A Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Wairoa on Wednesday, the 18th day of April, 1917, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolutions:—

“ (1.) That the Board recommend the Governor to declare the land no longer subject to Part XVI of the Act.

“ (2.) That the land be sold to Agnes Clementina Bowen, wife of James Llewellyn Bowen, of Mahanga, sheep-farmer, and William Cooper, of Gisborne, licensed interpreter, in equal shares, at a price equal to the owners’ interest in the valuation of the said land.”

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Wharepu 1B Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Wairoa on Wednesday, the 18th day of April, 1917, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“ That a lease of the Wharepu No. 1 Block be granted to John Henry Webber, of Wairoa, farmer, for a term of fifteen years at a rental equal to 5 per cent. per annum on the present Government valuation, with a right of renewal for a further term of fifteen years at a rental of 5 per cent. on the then Government valuation, with a right to compensation for improvements.”

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Nuhaka 2E 3B 1 Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Nuhaka on Tuesday, the 24th day of April, 1917, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“ That a lease of the said Nuhaka 2E 3B 1 Block be given to Matene Whaanga, of Nuhaka, aboriginal Native, for a term of twenty-one years at a rental of not less than 5 per centum of the present Government valuation of the said land, together with the right to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per centum of the then Government unimproved valuation of the said land, or with the right to compensation for improvements in the event of the renewal not being taken.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Nuhaka 2D 2P 2 Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Nuhaka on Tuesday, the 24th day of April, 1917, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“ That a lease of the said Nuhaka 2D 2P 2 Block be given to Hone Pomana, of Nuhaka, aboriginal Native, for a term of twenty-one years at a rental of not less than 5 per centum of the present Government valuation of the said land, together with the right to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per centum of the then Government unimproved valuation of the said land, or with the right of compensation for improvements in the event of the renewal not being taken.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Nuhaka 2E 3C 13 Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Nuhaka on Tuesday, the 24th day of April, 1917, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“ That the said Nuhaka 2E 3C 13 be leased to Koroniria Ratau, otherwise known as Niri Whaanga, for a term of twenty-one years at a rental of 5 per cent. on the present Government valuation, with a right of renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a rental of 5 per cent. on the then unimproved Government valuation.”

“ That the southern portion of Kahaatureia A Block, containing approximately 300 acres, be sold to Myra Powdrell, of Hawera, at the present Government valuation.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Kopua A Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Wairoa on Wednesday, the 18th day of April, 1917, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolutions:—

“ (1.) That the said Kopua A Block be sold to Maud Mary Hamlin, of Wairoa, married woman, at the present Government valuation of the same.

“ (2.) That the said Kopua A Block, or part thereof, be leased to John MacAndrew, of Wairoa, farmer, for a term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per cent. per annum of the present Government valuation of the said land, together with the right to a renewal for a further term of twenty
