PAPAKURA ROAD BOARD.

At a special meeting of the Papakura Road Board held on the 30th October, 1916, it was resolved that gorse be declared a noxious weed in the Papakura Road District, under section 72 of the Road Boards Act.

The above resolution was subsequently confirmed at the ordinary meeting of the Board held on the 27th November, 1916.

I hereby declare that clause 3 of section 72 has been complied with.

THAT all the noxious weeds contained in the Third Schedule of the Noxious Weeds Act, 1908, be declared to be noxious weeds within the Tamaki West Road District.

The foregoing resolution to operate as a special order, and come up for confirmation at a meeting to be held on the 11th day of January, 1917, at 2 p.m., and be advertised in the New Zealand Herald on 19th and 26th December, 1916, and 2nd and 9th January, 1917.

Duly confirmed and signed on 11th January, 1917.

HUNTLY ROAD DISTRICT.

Notice of Result of Poll.

PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers in the Kimihia Special-rating Area of the Huntly Road District taken on the 3rd day of February, 1917, on the proposal of the Huntly Road Board to borrow the sum of £400 for the further metalling of the roads of the Kimihia Special-rating Area, the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 11, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 0.

I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

FRANKTON BOROUGH COUNCIL.

Notice of Result of Poll on Proposal to raise a Loan.

PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Frankton was taken on the 10th day of January, 1917, on the proposal of the Frankton Borough Council, to borrow the sum of £2,500 for extending the present electric-lighting system, and £1,000 to bring water from the Waikato River into the borough.

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 39, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 3; informal votes, 1.

I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

Dated at Frankton Junction this 5th day of February, 1917.
