Pickford and Co., 20 Swanson Street, Auckland, for the purpose of laying before the meeting the account of the Liquidator showing the manner in which the winding-up of the company has been conducted and the assets of the company been disposed of.

OTAHUHU TROTTING CLUB.
THE following regulations have been adopted under the Gaming Act, 1908 :—
In pursuance and exercise of the powers in that behalf contained in section 33 of the Gaming Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities it enabling in that behalf, and with the approval of His Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand, the Otahuhu Trotting Club, a trotting club within the meaning of the said Act, and hereinafter referred to as “the said club,” doth hereby make the following regulations controlling the admission of persons to that part of the racecourse situate at Epsom, and set apart for racing purposes, and known as the Otahuhu Trotting Club’s Racecourse, while the same is used or occupied by the said club for race meetings :—

In these regulations the words “bookmaker,” “trotting club,” and “race meeting” shall have the meanings ascribed to these terms by section 2 of the Gaming Act, 1908.

The following persons shall be and are hereby excluded from the said racecourse while the same is used or occupied by the said club for race meetings, namely :—
(a.) Bookmakers.
(b.) All persons under disqualification inflicted by any trotting club in the Dominion of New Zealand, the Commonwealth of Australia, or elsewhere, if affiliated to the New Zealand Trotting Association.
(c.) Common prostitutes, and persons who habitually consort with thieves or with persons who have no lawful visible means of support.
The foregoing regulations of the Otahuhu Trotting Club were made and passed by the club on the 7th day of September, 1917, and signed by the Chairman and Secretary.

RESOLUTION.
THE following regulations were laid before the members of the Wanganui Trotting Club at a meeting held on the 22nd day of August, 1917, at Wanganui, with a recommendation by the Chairman of the Club, Mr. C. E. Mackay, that the same be passed at once with a view to their approval by His Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand, in pursuance of the Gaming Act, 1908, section 33.
Mr. C. E. Mackay, the Chairman of the Club and of the Meeting, moved, “That it be and hereby is resolved that such regulations be adopted, and that the Chairman be authorized to sign the same in authentication thereof.”
The motion was seconded by Mr. W. L. Young, and carried.
The following are the regulations above referred to :—
WANGANUI TROTTING CLUB.
REGULATIONS.
(Under the Gaming Act, 1908.)

PURIMU ROAD BOARD.
In the matter of the Road Boards Act, 1908, and the Public Works Act, 1908, and the amendments thereof.
N OTICE is hereby given that the Purimu Road Board proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, a public road in the Purimu Road District; and for the purpose of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken.
And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited at the Lake Station Homestead, and is open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during reasonable hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands, must state their objections in writing, and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Clerk of the said Road Board at his office in Porangahau.
THE SCHEDULE.
All that piece of land, containing 1 acre 2 roods 1 perch, more or less, situate in the Motuotaria Survey District, being parts of the Purimu Block Nos. 5 and 6, shown upon a Public Works plan deposited in the Survey Office at Napier, a copy of which plan is lodged for inspection at the Lake Station Homestead.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
THE Partnership lately existing between HANS PETER HANSEN and GEORGE GORDON WHITBREAD, and carried at Peel Street, Gisborne, under the name of “Hansen and Whitbread,” has been dissolved by mutual consent.
