IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the fifty-fifth section of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the local authority specified in Part I of the Schedule hereto to have the control and management of the public cemetery specified in Part II of the said Schedule.

Part II.—Name of Public Cemetery and Description of Land.
NAPIER.
ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 4 acres 2 roods 2 perches, more or less, being Cemetery Reserve, in the Borough of Napier. Bounded towards the north-east and east generally by Chaucer Road for 79·5, 304·9, and 1022 links; and towards the south and west generally by Botanical Garden Reserve for 1902·4 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 2/322, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
