Section 1, Block XI: Area, 17 acres; upset price, £200.
Situated on the Gisborne—Tolaga Bay coach-road, about eighteen miles from Gisborne and half a mile from Pakarae Township. Very broken; about 6 acres in grass, the remainder in bush; well watered.

Notifying Lands in Wellington Land District for Sale by Public Auction.

LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-twenty-sixth section of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Tuesday, the eighteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, as the time at which the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction; and I do hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.

Part of Section 535: Area, 45 perches; upset price, £300.
Situated in Thorndon, Wellington, with a frontage of about 25 ft. 9 in. to Wingfield Street, and a depth of about 46 ft. 10 in. Good business-site.

Livingstone is situated about four miles from Hunter ville by formed dray-road. Sections are flat, and in standing bush.

Situated near Town of Piriaka, the access being from Piriaka Railway-station, which is about one mile distant by formed dray-road. Poor flat land, with pumiceous soil on sandstone formation, covered with stunted manuka. Elevation about 700 ft. above sea-level.

This village is situated on the Kiwitea Stream, on main Ohingaiti—Rangiwahia Road, and is about eight miles distant from Ohingaiti Railway-station. Flat and undulating open land of fair quality, on clay and papa formation, at an elevation of about 1,300 ft. above sea-level.

Rural Land.—Mauriceville County.—Kopuaranga Survey District.
Section 210, Block II: Area, 1 acre 0 roods 8 perches; upset price, £15.
Situated near main road and railway, about one mile from Mauriceville Railway-station, access being by metalled road. Low-lying flat land in grass, and swamp. Fenced on railway reserve, but unfenced on road frontage. Soil of good quality, on limestone formation.

Rural Land.—Akitio County.—Mount Cerberus Survey District.—Rising Sun Block.
Section 54, Block XII: Area, 50 acres; upset price, £90.
Weighted with £170 5s., valuation for improvements.
Situated in Rising Sun Block, the access being from Pahiatua (via Makuri), which is situated about thirty-six miles by formed dray-road. Sloping hillside land rising towards top of Puketoi Range. Soil is of good quality, on limestone and papa formation. The improvements comprise the felling and grassing of whole area, and fencing.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section four of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

The Rev. WILLIAM TRAIN TODD

to be a trustee, in the place of the Rev. John James Bates who has removed from the district, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Lyttelton Public Cemetery, in conjunction with John Richard Webb, Robert Hatchwell, James Pitcaithly, Frederick William Anderson, William Thomas Foster, John Young, and Rev. John Ernest Parsons, previously appointed.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this twelfth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen.

PURSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by the two-hundred-and-eighty-eighth section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that

WILLIAM ERIC GRANT,

being a person holding the office of Postmaster under the Post and Telegraph Act, 1908, at Te Pohue, is authorized to take and receive statutory declarations under the two-hundred-and-eighty-eighth section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1908.

As witness my hand this eighth day of November one thousand nine hundred and seventeen.
