James Noel Edgar, M.B., Ch.B., N.Z., to be Lieutenant. Dated 8th September, 1917.
Robert Lyall Christie, M.B., Ch.B., N.Z., to be Lieutenant. Dated 13th September, 1917.
The Christian names of Captain Hugh Lawrence Widdowson are as now described, and not as stated in the N.Z. Gazette No. 19, of 11th February, 1915.
NEW ZEALAND DENTAL CORPS.
Captain John Sanders Fairchild, N.Z. Expeditionary Force, is struck off the strength, with effect from 10th October, 1917, and is absorbed with his original rank and seniority—viz., Lieutenant (temp. Captain), as from 7th November, 1915 (vide N.Z. Gazette No. 25, of the 2nd March, 1916).
NEW ZEALAND CHAPLAINS DEPARTMENT.
The Reverend Daniel Dutton, N.Z. Expeditionary Force, Chaplain to the Forces, 3rd Class, is struck off the strength, with effect from 16th October, 1917, and is absorbed with his original rank and seniority—viz., Chaplain to the Forces, 3rd Class, as from 8th May, 1907 (vide N.Z. Gazette No. 47, of the 30th May, 1917).
The notification published in the N.Z. Gazette No. 139, of the 6th September, 1917, relating to the Reverend Reginald Hermon, is cancelled.
NEW ZEALAND ARMY PAY DEPARTMENT.
Staff Sergeant Henry Featherston Griffin is appointed Command Paymaster (temp.), Otago Military District, and is granted the temporary rank of Lieutenant whilst so employed. Dated 17th September, 1917.

2nd Lieutenant Douglas Gifford-Moore, appointed 21st June, 1917, is struck off the strength of the N.Z. Expeditionary Force, with effect from 17th October, 1917.
ADDENDUM.
With reference to the notification published in the N.Z. Gazette No. 91, of the 31st May, 1917, Appointments of Officers proceeding on Active Service with the New Zealand Expeditionary Force, add the following: “Corps of New Zealand Engineers, Lieutenant John William Dow, No. 2 Field Company.”
ERRATA.
