FOURTH SCHEDULE.
TAUPO EAST COUNTY.
ALL that area in the Auckland, Hawke’s Bay, and Wellington Land Districts bounded by a line commencing at a point on the north-western shore of Lake Taupo, being the mouth of the Waihora Stream; thence along a right line to Trig. Station 807 (Oraura), along a right line to Trig. Station 31 (Paeroa), and a right line to Trig. Station 76A (Tawhiwau); thence along a right line running in the direction of Trig. Station 69 (Tatarakino) to its intersection by a right line from a point where the Napier-Taupo Road crosses the Rangitaiki River to the most northerly point of Lake Waikaremoana; thence along a right line to a point on the Te Hoe River at the south-eastern corner of Heruwi No. 4 Block, and along the middle of that river to and along the middle of the Mohaka River to its intersection by the production of a right line running from Trig. Station 65A (Kaweka Range) to 68A; thence along the said right line to Trig. Station 65A, a right line thence to Trig. Station 26 (Tawheketewhango), a right line to Trig. Station 27; thence along a right line to Trig. Station 28 (Manukaiapu), a right line to Ruapehu Trig. Station, a right line to Trig. Station H (Paretetaitonga), a right line thence to Trig. Station D (Ngauruhoe), a right line to Tongariro Trig. Station, and thence along a right line to the western shore of Lake Taupo at the mouth of the Waihi Stream; and along the western shore of Lake Taupo to the mouth of the Waihora Stream, the place of commencement.
WAIROA COUNTY.
ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay and Auckland Land Districts bounded by a line commencing at the northernmost point of Lake Waikaremoana; thence along a right line running in the direction of Puketapu Trig. Station to the Ruakituri River; across that river, and along its left bank to a right line running from Puketapu Trig. Station to the summit of Mangapowhatu Mountain; along that line to the western boundary of Tahoma 2 of 3F, Section 2; thence along the boundary of Waikohu County, as described in the New Zealand Gazette of the 12th December, 1916, page 3881, to Cook County; and thence along the southern boundary of Cook County, as described in the New Zealand Gazette of the 15th February, 1917, page 595, to the sea at Paritu; along the seashore to the mouth of the Waikare River; thence along the middle of that river to and along its tributary forming the north-eastern boundary of Section 3 in Block XII, Waitara Survey District, and along the north-eastern boundary of that section to Trig. Station B (Patuawahine) at the easternmost corner of Small Grazing-run 107, and along the north-eastern boundary of that run to the Mohaka River, to and along the middle of that river to its confluence with the Te Hoe River, along the middle of the Te Hoe River to the south-eastern corner of Heruwi No. 4 Block; thence along a right line to the south-western corner of Whakatane County; and thence along a right line to the northernmost point of Lake Waikaremoana, the place of commencement: including Portland Island, and excluding the Borough of Wairoa.
HAWKE’S BAY COUNTY.
ALL that area in the Auckland, Hawke’s Bay, and Wellington Land Districts bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Rangitikei River where it is intersected by the southern boundary of Taupo East County; thence along the southern boundary of that county, hereinbefore described, to and along the south-western boundary of Wairoa County, hereinbefore described, to the sea at the mouth of the Waikare River; thence along the seashore to the north-eastern corner of Patangata County; thence along the boundary between Hawke’s Bay County and Patangata, Waipawa, and Rangitikei Counties, as described in the New Zealand Gazette of the 1st September, 1904, page 2113, to and along the middle of the Rangitikei River to the southern boundary of Taupo East County, the place of commencement: excluding the Boroughs of Napier, Hastings, and the Town Districts of Havelock North and Taradale.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this fourteenth day of September, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and seventeen.

Declaring certain Area added to the County of Rangitikei to be included in Porewa Riding thereof.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the twenty-third day of July, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-sixth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, the boundaries of the County of Rangitikei and Borough of Marton were altered by the exclusion of a certain area from the Borough of Marton and the inclusion of such area in the County of Rangitikei: And whereas it is desirable that the area so added to the County of Rangitikei should be included in the Porewa Riding of that county:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section twenty-two of the Counties Act, 1908, do hereby declare that the area included as aforesaid in the County of Rangitikei shall on and from the first day of November, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, be included in the Porewa Riding of the said county, and that the boundaries of that riding shall be those set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
POREWA RIDING, RANGITIKEI COUNTY.
ALL that area in the Rangitikei County bounded as follows: Commencing at the south-eastern corner of Section 77, Block X, Wangaehu Survey District; thence by the eastern boundary of the said section to the south-western corner of Section CCLXVI; thence by the southern boundary of that section to the north-eastern corner of Section CCLXXXII; thence by the western and northern boundaries of Section CCLXXXVIII, and by the western boundary of Section CCLXXXVII and Section CCLXXXVI and the northern boundary of that section; thence by the eastern boundaries of Sections CCLXXXV and CCXII to the north-western corner of Section CCX; thence by the northern boundary of that section to the south-eastern corner of Section CCLII; thence by the eastern boundary of that section to the north-western corner of Section CCIX, by the northern boundary of Section CCIX to its north-eastern corner; thence by the western boundary of Section CCII to its north-western corner, and by its northern boundary to its north-eastern corner; thence by the western boundary of Section LXI to its north-western corner; thence by the northern boundaries of Sections LXI and LXII to the south-eastern corner of Section CCV; thence by the eastern boundary of that section and Section CCVI to the north-western corner of Section CCLXXIII; thence by the south-western boundary of Sections 16 and 17 to the north-western corner of Section CCLXXVIII; thence by the western boundary of that section and the eastern boundary of Section XLIV to Jefferson Road, and by that road to the north-western corner of Section XXXV; thence by the western boundaries of that section and Section XXII and by the southern boundaries of Sections XXII and XXI to the Porewa Stream; thence by that stream to the Rangitikei River; thence by that river to the northern boundary of the Rangitoto Riding, as described in the New Zealand Gazette of the 11th May, 1905, page 1116; thence by the said northern boundary to the eastern boundary of the Otakapu Riding as described in the aforesaid Gazette; and thence by the said eastern boundary to the place of commencement: excluding the Borough of Marton.
