Regulations made under the Census and Statistics Act, 1910.
LIVERPOOL, Governor-General.
IN exercise of the powers vested in me by the Census and Statistics Act, 1910, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby make the following regulations prescribing additional matters in regard to which the Statistician shall collect statistics.
REGULATIONS.
- IN addition to the matters specified in paragraphs (a) to (j) of section 21 of the Census and Statistics Act, 1910, and in any other regulations heretofore made under that Act, the Statistician shall, subject to that section, collect statistics in regard to stocks of—
Kerosene.
Benzine.
Petrol or motor spirit.
Benzoline.
Gasoline.
Naphtha.
Naphthalene.
Other oils customarily used for lighting or internal-combustion purposes.

Every person holding stocks of the articles mentioned in the preceding regulation, or of any of these articles, shall on request within such time or times as he may be required by the Statistician so to do, furnish particulars as to such stocks held by him on a date or dates to be specified by the Statistician.

In order to comply with the last preceding regulation every such person shall fill up and supply to the Statistician, or to any officer authorized by him in writing, the particulars specified in the form set out in the Schedule hereto in accordance with the instructions accompanying that form, and shall sign the form certifying to the correctness of the particulars entered therein.

PURSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by the two-hundred-and-eighty-eighth section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that the persons set out in the Schedule hereto, being persons holding the office of Postmaster under the Post and Telegraph Act, 1908, at the places set opposite their names in the said Schedule, are authorized to take and receive statutory declarations under the two-hundred-and-eighty-eighth section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1908.
