Extension of Time for Preparation of County Rolls, &c., County of Masterton.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-fifth day of August, 1917.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS it has been made to appear that the preparation of the rolls for the County of Masterton, and the taking of certain steps consequent on such preparation, cannot be made and taken within the times mentioned in the Counties Act, 1908, and it is expedient to extend the said times respectively:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the said Counties Act, 1908, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the several dates mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall be the respective dates for taking the several steps set out in the said Schedule.
SCHEDULE.
- For preparing the rolls for the ridings within the County of Masterton: Until the 22nd day of August, 1917.
- Time for which such rolls shall be open for inspection: From the 27th day of August, 1917, to the 15th day of September, 1917.
- Time for appeals against the said rolls: Until the 22nd day of September, 1917.
- Revision courts may sit for hearing applications with reference to the said rolls, and adjourn: Until the 29th day of September, 1917.
- Time when the said rolls, having been corrected and signed, shall come into force: On the 3rd day of October, 1917.

Extending Prohibition of Alienation of certain Native Lands other than Alienations in favour of the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-fifth day of August, 1917.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, and by section one hundred and eleven of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913 (as amended by section eight of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1916), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend for a further period of eighteen months the Order in Council made the first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen (gazetted the second day of March, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen), as extended by Order in Council until the first day of September, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, prohibiting all alienation of the Native lands specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienations in favour of the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-fifth day of August, 1917.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend for a further period of six months the Order in Council dated the first day of September, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, and gazetted the fourteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, prohibiting all alienations of the Native lands (or of any subdivisions thereof) specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienations in favour of the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-fifth day of August, 1917.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby prohibit, for the period of one year from the date of this Order in Council, all alienations of the Native lands specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienations in favour of the Crown.
