(6.) Except for the purpose of consuming feed running to waste and keeping the pasture in good order, no stock other than travelling stock, and two head of cattle and two horses as may be required for the use of any caretaker appointed by the said Council, shall be permitted to graze within the boundaries of any of the said reserves.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 4 acres, more or less, being Section 55, Block I, Clive Survey District, permanently reserved as a resting-place for travelling stock by a Warrant dated the 20th day of October, 1909, and published in the Gazette of the 21st day of that month.
Also all that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 4 acres 1 rood 5·7 perches, more or less, being Section 2, Block XVI, Puketapu Survey District, permanently reserved as a resting-place for travelling stock by a Warrant dated the 18th day of February, 1910, and published in Gazette of the 24th day of that month.
Also all that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 11 acres 3 roods 5 perches, more or less, being Section 1, Block XI, Kuripapanga Survey District, permanently reserved as a resting-place for travelling stock by a Warrant dated the 16th day of February, 1916, and published in Gazette of the 24th day of that month.
Also all that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 29·3 perches, more or less, being Sections 1 and 2, Block XIII, Puketapu, permanently reserved as a resting-place for travelling stock by a Warrant dated the 30th day of November, 1916, and published in Gazette of the 7th day of December of that year.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the Wallace County Council is a body of persons having power to lease lands held in trust, reserved, or set apart for public purposes, and has requested the Governor-General in Council to declare it to be a leasing authority within the meaning of the Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in compliance with such request, and in exercise of the powers in this behalf conferred by the above-mentioned Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the Wallace County Council is a leasing authority within the meaning of the Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908.

Withdrawing Land from the Operation of the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section forty-six of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1913, it is enacted that the Governor may, by Order in Council gazetted, on the recommendation of the Land Board, declare that any land comprised in a kauri-gum reserve shall, from a date to be specified in the Order, cease to be subject to the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908, and on and after the date so specified the land to which the Order relates shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1908 :
And whereas the Land Board of the Auckland Land District has duly passed a resolution recommending that the portion of the Opoe Kauri-gum Reserve Extension No. 2 described in the Schedule hereto be excepted from the operations of the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation :
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section forty-six of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1913, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the portion of the Opoe Kauri-gum Reserve Extension No. 2 described in the Schedule hereto shall, from the fifth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, cease to be subject to the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres 3 roods 11 perches, more or less, being portion of the Opoe Kauri-gum Reserve Extension No. 2, set apart by Order in Council dated the 10th day of July, 1899, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 60, of the 13th July, 1899. Bounded towards the east generally by a road, 893·8, 219·84, and 26·96 links; towards the south and south-west by a road, 837·24 and 170·23 links respectively; towards the north-west generally by Section 6, Block V, Opoe Survey District, 281·5 links, and the other part of the aforementioned Opoe Kauri-gum Reserve Extension No. 2, 287 links, and the Waiparera River: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on plan marked L. and S. 25/757, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Auckland Plan No. 19247.)
