point of commencement.
And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the
1st day of January in each and every year during the currency
of such loan, being a period of 36½ years at the rate of interest
of £4 10s. per centum per annum, together with an additional
yearly payment to provide the necessary sinking fund, or
until the loan is fully paid off.
The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the
Raglan County Council held at Ngaruawahia on the 12th
day of July, 1916.
The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and
Inhabitants of the County of Raglan has hereunto been
affixed this 12th day of July, 1916, in the presence of

DARGAVILLE BOROUGH COUNCIL.
COPY OF RESOLUTION PASSED AT A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE
DARGAVILLE BOROUGH COUNCIL HELD FOR THAT PURPOSE
ON 13TH JUNE, 1916.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the
Dargaville Borough Council hereby resolved as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £361 10s., authorized to be raised by the
Dargaville Borough Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans
Act, 1913, and its amendments, for the purpose of the com-
pletion of the formation and metalling of Normanby Street,
in the Borough of Dargaville, the said Dargaville Borough
Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one twenty-
fourth of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of
all rateable property of the Borough of Dargaville ; and that
such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of such loan, and shall be payable half-yearly on the
first day of September and the first day of March in each and
every year during the currency of such loan, being a period
of thirty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

IN LIQUIDATION.
NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of sections 230
and 252 of the Companies Act, 1908, that a general
meeting of the members of the above-named company will be
held at Accountants’ Chambers, 39 Johnston Street, Wel-
ington, on Monday, the 7th day of August, 1916, at 10 a.m.,
for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing
the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and
the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any
explanation that may be given by the Liquidators, and also
of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in
which the books, accounts, and documents of the company
shall be disposed of.

FRANKLIN COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the
Franklin County Council hereby resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of one hundred pounds, authorized to be
raised by the Franklin County Council, under the above-
mentioned Act, for the purpose of formation and metalling
of Jamieson’s Road, Buckland, the said Franklin County
Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-
eighths of a penny (¾d.) in the pound upon the rateable value
of all rateable property of the Jamieson’s Road (Buckland)
Special-rating Area, comprising the following sections of the
Parish of Pukekohe: Part Section 37, 22 acres 3 roods 26
perches; part Section 36, 82 acres; part Section 36, 48 acres
2 roods; part Section 36, 119 acres 2 roods 14 perches; part
Section 37, 3 acres 2 roods; and part Section 37, 80 acres—
the said sections being portion of the Pukekohe Riding of
Franklin County, and situate in Blocks XV and XVI of the
Drury Survey District. And that such special rate shall be
an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan,
and be payable yearly on the first day of October in each
and every year during the currency of such loan, being a
period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a resolu-
tion passed at the ordinary monthly meeting of the Franklin
County Council held on Thursday, the 6th day of July, 1916.

COUNTY OF HAWKE’S BAY.
MOKOPEKA–KAHURANAKI ROAD LOAN.—RESOLUTION MAKING
SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in them
by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Hawke’s Bay
County Council do hereby resolve as follows :—
“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £3,000, authorized to be raised by this
Council, under the above-cited Act, to defray one-half the
estimated cost of constructing a public road leading from a
point on the Hastings–Waimarama Road about twenty chains
from the eastern end of the Waimarama Bridge through the
Kidnapper and Kauranaki Crown-grant Districts to the Hawea
Road, the Council do hereby make and levy a special rate of
one penny in the pound upon the capital value of all rateable
property within the Mokopeka–Kahuranaki Special-rating
District, being the area described in the Schedule hereto.
The said special rate to be an annually recurring rate during
the term or currency of the said loan, and to be payable
half-yearly on the first day of February and the first day of
August in each year during that term (being a period of ten
years from the first day of August, one thousand nine hun-
dred and sixteen), or until the loan is fully paid off; the rate
of interest on the said loan to be five pounds five shillings
(£5¼) per centum per annum.”
THE SCHEDULE ABOVE REFERRED TO.
All that area in the Havelock Riding of the County of
Hawke’s Bay, containing by admeasurement 12,109 acres
2 roods 37 perches, be the same a little more or less, and
comprising Blocks Numbers 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38,
39, 40, 41, 43, 49, 50, 52, 53, 56, and 57, and parts of Blocks
Numbers 42, 44, 46, 48, 54, 55, and 58, Kauranaki Crown-
grant District, and bounded as follows: Commencing at the
junction of the Mangangarara Stream with the Tukituki
River; thence south-easterly by that stream and by the
north-eastern boundaries of the said Blocks Numbers 30, 38,
and 41 to the Maraetotara River; thence south-westerly by
that river to its junction with the Ngamangatawa Stream;
thence again south-easterly by that stream and the south-
eastern boundaries of the said Blocks Numbers 30, 43, 49,
42, and 48 to the south-eastern corner of the lot numbered 2
on a plan deposited in the Land Transfer Office at Napier
under Number 2685; thence westerly by other parts of the
said Blocks Numbers 48, 58, 42, and 44 to the Hawea Road;
thence across that road and south-westerly by the same to
the south-eastern corner of the lot numbered 4 on the said
deposited plan Number 2685; thence south-westerly and
north-westerly by other parts of the said Blocks Numbers 44,
54, 55, and 46, and again north-easterly and north-westerly
by other parts of the said Blocks Numbers 46, 55, and 44 to
the Hawea Stream; thence north-easterly by that stream to
its junction with the Tukituki River; thence again north-
easterly by the right bank of that river to the commencing-
point.
The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and In-
habitants of the County of Hawke’s Bay was hereunto affixed
this 10th day of July, 1916, in the presence of—
