TERMS OF SALE.
The purchaser may pay for the land in cash or by deferred payments extending over a period of nineteen years. The terms are—

Deferred Payments.—5 per cent. of the purchase-money and license fee (£1 1s.) on the fall of the hammer; balance by equal annual instalments extending over nineteen years, with interest payable half-yearly at the rate of 5 per cent. per annum on the unpaid purchase-money; but with the right to pay off at any time the whole or any part of the outstanding amount.
In either case if the purchaser fails to make any of the prescribed payments by due date, whether of purchase-money or interest, the amount (if any) already paid shall be forfeited and the contract for the sale of the land be null and void.

Wilford Settlement is situated at the eastern end of the Borough of Petone, and is about one mile distant from Petone Railway-station, which is reached in eighteen minutes by train from the City of Wellington. Steps are being taken by the Petone Borough Council to establish a motor-bus service, which will serve the lots under offer. These lots are all in grass and are generally of a dry nature, somewhat sandy, on gravel formation, between Heretaunga and High Streets, and with a heavy loam between High and Manchester Streets. The streets on which they abut are formed and metalled, with concrete kerbing and channeling. An opportunity is here afforded of securing very desirable residential sites close to school and sea-shore.
