Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Awhitu Domain.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twelfth day of June, 1916.

Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke a certain Order in Council, dated the third day of December, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-five, delegating powers to the Awhitu Domain Board, and doth hereby appoint

THE FRANKLIN COUNTY COUNCIL

to be the Awhitu Domain Board, having the control of the domain described in the said Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Thursday, the sixth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, at half past nine o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Franklin County Council Chambers, Hill Street, Pukekohe, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.
AWHITU DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 8 acres 3 roods 30 perches, more or less, being Allotment No. 58C in the Parish of Awhitu. Bounded towards the north by a public road, 942 links; towards the east generally by a public road, 490 and 397 links; towards the south by the north-eastern portion of Allotment No. 58 1272 links; and towards the west by Allotment No. 58B 733 links; all in the Parish of Awhitu: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked 1/353, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Auckland Plans 4345 and 4692.)

Declaring Portions of Roads in Block II, Motu Survey District, to be Government Roads.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twelfth day of June, 1916.

Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government roads.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of roads declared Government roads:—
23 perches, adjoining or passing through Section 1, Block IV, Urutawa East Survey District; shown on plan P.W.D. 40257.

3 roods 15 perches, adjoining or passing through Crown land; shown on plan P.W.D. 40256.

Situated in Block II, Motu Survey District (Poverty Bay R.D.).

In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured green.

Transfer of Patea and District Patriotic League’s Wounded Soldiers and Sailors and their Dependants Fund to the Taranaki Provincial War Relief Association, incorporated under the War Funds Act, 1915.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twelfth day of June, 1916.

Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS by section thirteen of the War Funds Act, 1915 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), it is provided that any person, society, or trustees (whether such society or trustees are incorporated or not) having control of any war fund may, with the consent of the Governor in Council, transfer such fund to any other society or trustees incorporated pursuant to section twelve of the said Act, to be applied by such last-mentioned society or trustees for the purposes for which such last-mentioned society or trustees were incorporated, notwithstanding that such purposes may not be identical with the purposes for which the fund to be transferred was established; provided that consent shall not be given to any application under this section unless the Governor in Council is satisfied that the fund to be transferred can be administered by the incorporated society or trustees for substantially the same purposes as those for which the fund was established: And whereas an application has been made by the Patea and District Patriotic League to transfer the fund held by such committee, entitled “The Wounded Soldiers and Sailors and their Dependants Fund,” to the Taranaki Provincial War Relief Association (Incorporated): And whereas the Governor in Council is satisfied that such fund can be administered by the Taranaki Provincial War Relief Association for substantially the same purposes as those for which that fund was established: And whereas it is considered desirable to consent to such transfer:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the transfer of the fund held by the said Patea and District Patriotic League, entitled “The Wounded Soldiers and Sailors and their Dependants Fund,” to the Taranaki Provincial War Relief Association (Incorporated).

Vesting a Cemetery Reserve in the Corporation of the Borough of Masterton.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twelfth day of June, 1916.

Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart for a public cemetery: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Corporation of the Borough of Masterton:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the fourth section of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Corporation of the Borough of Masterton, in trust, for a public cemetery.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, and being Section 105 in Block I, Otahoua Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east generally by Section No. 104, 350 links, and by the Waipoua River; and towards the south-east, south-west, and north-west by Section No. 19, 450 links, 700 links, and 800 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 2/132, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
