Consenting to Land being taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block XIII, Coromandel Survey District.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this fifth day of June, 1916.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by the Public Works Act, 1908, it is, in section fifteen thereof, inter alia, enacted that, except for the purpose of a railway or defence purposes, or for the purposes of any other work to be made under the authority of a special Act, nothing in this Act contained shall authorize the taking of any land occupied by any building, yard, garden, orchard, or vineyard, or in bona fide occupation as an ornamental park or pleasure-ground, without the previous consent of the Governor in Council:
And whereas part of the land described in the Schedule hereto is occupied by a garden, and the Minister of Public Works has recommended the Governor to issue an Order in Council under the said Act consenting to the taking of the said land for the purposes of a road:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for the purposes above mentioned.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land being taken:—
28 perches, being portion of Customary land; coloured red on plan.
0·1 perch, 0·5 perch, and 0·5 perch, being portions of Pumoko No. 2c; coloured purple, edged purple, on plan.
Situated in Block XIII, Coromandel Survey District (S.O. 18149).
In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 39328, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Altering a Clause in the License authorizing John Barnett, Settler, Leeston, to use Water for the Purpose of generating Electricity and to erect Electric Lines across Bluett’s Road, Leeston, in the Canterbury Provincial District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this fifth day of June, 1916.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS a license authorizing John Barnett, Settler, of Leeston, to use water for the purpose of generating electricity and to erect electric lines across Bluett’s Road, Leeston, in the Canterbury Provincial District, was issued on the twenty-fourth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-seventh day of the same month, and it is expedient to alter clause seven of the terms and conditions of the said license as hereinafter set forth: And whereas the said John Barnett has agreed to such alteration:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by section two of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1911, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby alter the said clause seven by substituting therefor the following clause:—
- RENTAL.
The licensee shall, in respect to this license, pay to the Electrical Engineer of the Public Works Department at Christchurch, or otherwise as the Minister may at any time require, a yearly rental of 2s.; such rental to be paid annually on the first day of March in each and every year.

Declaring Portion of Aylward Road, in the Whangamomona County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this fifth day of June, 1916.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of Aylward Road, in the Taranaki Land District, Whangamomona County, commencing at its junction with Kohuratahi Road, and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly direction, adjoining or passing through Section 4, Block XVI, Pouatu Survey District, and terminating at the north-eastern corner of Section 18, Block XV, Pouatu Survey District; being a distance of fifty-three chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 40197, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red and marked A B.

Declaring Portion of Hangaroa-Waikaremoana Road, in the Cook County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this fifth day of June, 1916.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of Hangaroa-Waikaremoana Road, in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, Cook County, commencing at the most westerly point of S.G.R. 65, Block II, Hangaroa Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction, adjoining or passing through part S.G.R. 31, Blocks II, I, and V, Hangaroa Survey District, and terminating at a point opposite Mr. E. Wallis’s wool-shed about two miles and a half north-east of its junction with the Bushy Knoll Road; being a distance of three miles and a half, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 40183, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon shown by a dotted red line.
