“4. That part of Tihimanono Block be leased to Ngatai
Hooper, of Te Araroa, for a term of twenty-one years at a
rental of 4s. per acre per annum or 5 per centum of the
present Government valuation, whichever is the greater,
together with the right to a renewal for a further term of
twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per centum per
annum of the then Government unimproved valuation of the
said land, or with the right to compensation for improvements.

“5. That a portion of Tihimanono Block be leased to
Henare Pereto, farmer, of Taumataomanu, for a term of
twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per centum per
annum of the present Government valuation of the said
land, together with the right to a renewal for a further term
of twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per centum per
annum on the then Government unimproved valuation of
the said land, or with the right to compensation for improvements
should the lease be not renewed.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land
District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners
of Tangihanga Block is summoned and will be held, in
pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909,
at Tikitiki on Saturday, the 24th day of June, 1916, at
2 o'clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering
the following proposed resolution:—

“That an offer made by the Crown to purchase the Tangi-
hanga Block or any part thereof shall be accepted.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land
District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners
of Marangairoa 1c 2 Block is summoned and will be held,
in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909,
at Tikitiki on Saturday, the 17th day of June, 1916,
at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of con-
sidering the following proposed resolution:—

“That the Marangairoa 1c 2 Block be leased for twenty-
one years to Wi Pati, of Horoera, farmer, at a rental equal
to 5 per cent. on the present Government unimproved valua-
tion of the land, with the right of renewal for a further term
of twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per cent. on the
then unimproved value of the land, with the right to com-
pensation for improvements at the end of the first term if
the renewal be not taken or granted.”

pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at
Tikitiki on Saturday, the 10th day of June, 1916, at 2
o'clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering the
following proposed resolution:—

“That the Arataha No. 1 Block be leased to Ratimira te
Puni for a term of twenty-one years at a rental of not less
than 5 per centum on the present Government valuation of
the said land, together with the right to a renewal for a
further term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to not
less than 5 per centum on the then Government unimproved
valuation of the said land. If the said renewal be not taken,
then compensation to be paid for improvements.”

with the right to a renewal for a further term of
twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per centum per annum
of the then unimproved Government valuation of the said
land, or with the right to compensation for improvements
should the lease be not renewed.”

Wirepa, of Te Araroa, medical practitioner, for twenty-one
years at the yearly rental equal to 5 per cent. of the Govern-
ment valuation of the said land, together with a right to a
renewal for a further twenty-one years at a yearly rental
equal to 5 per cent. of the then Government unimproved
valuation of the said land, or with the right to compensation
for improvements in the event of the renewal not being
taken.”

Farmers’ Co-operative Company (Limited) for a term of

annum of the present Government official valuation of the
said land, together with the right to a renewal for a further
term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per centum
per annum of the then unimproved Government valuation
of the said land, or with the right to compensation for im-
