Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the
Native Land Act, 1909.
REGULATION No. 52.
THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Wharekahika Nos. 17 and 18K is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Tikitiki on Saturday, the 10th day of June, 1916, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:-
"That a lease of the Wharekahika 17 and 18K be given to Kereama Aupouri, of Kahukura, settler, and Hemara Moana, of Tuparoa, settler, for a term of twenty-one years at a rental not less than 5 per centum per annum of the present capital value of the said land, together with the right to a renewal for a further period of twenty-one years at a rental not less than 5 per centum per annum of the Government unimproved valuation of the said land, or with the right to compensation for improvements. Lease to contain the usual covenants."

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.
REGULATION No. 52.
THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Wharekahika No. 18K is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Tikitiki on Saturday, the 10th day of June, 1916, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:-
"That a lease of the portion of the Wharekahika No. 18K Block lying south of the Main East Coast Road be given to Elizabeth Cornish, of Port Awanui, settler, for a term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per centum per annum of the present valuation of the said land, together with the right to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per centum per annum of the then unimproved valuation of the said land, or with the right to compensation for improvements."

"That a lease of Pakihikura No. 4 be given to Mabel Hughes, wife of Nigel Charles Hughes, of Port Awanui, sheep-farmer, for a term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per centum per annum of the present valuation of the said land, together with the right to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per centum per annum of the then unimproved valuation of the said land, or with the right to compensation for improvements."

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Marangairoa 2E 2 Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Tikitiki on Saturday, the 17th day of June, 1916, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolutions:-
"1. That a lease of about 1,000 acres of the Marangairoa 2E 2 Block be given to Rapata Manuera, of Waiapu, aboriginal Native, sheep-farmer, for a term of twenty-one years at a rental not less than 5 per centum of the present valuation of the said land, together with the right to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per centum per annum of the then unimproved valuation of the said land, or with the right to compensation for improvements.
"2. That a lease of Marangairoa 2E 2 Block, or of a portion thereof, be given to Makarini Tanara Ngata, of Waiomatatini, aboriginal Native, for a term of twenty-one years at a rental of 5 per centum per annum of the present valuation of the said land, together with the right to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per centum of the then unimproved valuation of the said land, or with the right to compensation for improvements. Locality and area to be fixed at the meeting.
"3. That the Marangairoa 2E 2 Block be leased to Tuhaka Kohere and Hemi Mahunu, both of Te Araroa, for a term of twenty-one years at a rental not less than 5 per centum per annum of the present Government valuation of the said land, together with the right to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a rental not less than 5 per centum per annum of the then unimproved Government valuation of the said land, or with the right to compensation for improvements."

"That a lease of the Marangairoa No. 2B No. 2 Block be given to Renata Ngata, of Rangitukia, aboriginal Native, sheep-farmer, for a term of twenty-one years at a rental of 5 per centum per annum of the present valuation of the land, together with the right to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per centum per annum of the then unimproved valuation of the said land, or with the right to compensation for improvements."

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Tihioanono Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Tikitiki on Saturday, the 17th day of June, 1916, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolutions:-
"1. That 600 acres of the Tihioanono Block be leased to Wi Hoehoe, of Port Awanui, settler, for a term of twenty-one years at a rental not less than 5 per centum on the present Government valuation of the said land, together with the right to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to not less than 5 per centum on the then Government unimproved valuation of the said land, or with the right to compensation for improvements. Location of area to be leased to be fixed at the meeting.
"2. That the Tihioanono Block be leased to Rupuha Konia and Akuhata Kawakawa, both of Te Araroa, for a term of twenty-one years at a rental not less than 5 per centum per annum of the present Government valuation of the said land, together with the right to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a rental not less than 5 per centum per annum of the then unimproved Government valuation of the said land, or with the right to compensation for improvements.
"3. That 670 acres of Tihioanono Block be leased to Riawai Rangihuna, of Te Araroa, for a term of twenty-one years at a rental of 2s. 6d. per acre per annum, together with the right of renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a rental of 3s. per acre per annum, or with the right to compensation for improvements should the lease be not renewed."
