Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Mangawhariki 7A Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Tuparoa on Monday, the 28th day of February, 1916, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“That timber-cutting rights over the Mangawhariki 7A Block be granted to Horomona Kerehi, of Tuparoa, for a term of twenty-one years at the following royalties, viz.: All timber, 1s. per 100 superficial feet; all timber, 5s. per 100 posts.”

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Waiaranga 1 Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Tuparoa on Monday, the 28th day of February, 1916, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“That the Waiaranga Block be leased to James John Spratt, of Tuparoa, sheep-farmer, for a term of thirty years at the yearly rental of 7s. per acre for the first ten years, 9s. per acre for the second ten years, and 12s. per acre for the third ten years.”

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Taikatiki Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Tuparoa on Monday, the 28th day of February, 1916, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“That the Taikatiki Block be leased to James John Spratt, of Tuparoa, sheep-farmer, for a term of thirty years at the yearly rental of 7s. per acre for the first ten years, 9s. per acre for the second ten years, and 12s. per acre for the third ten years.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Marangairoa 1B 3 Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Tikiti on Thursday, the 2nd day of March, 1916, at 2 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“That a lease of the Marangairoa 1B 3 Block be granted to Ngatai Wanoa for a term of twenty-one years at yearly rent equal to 5 per cent. of present Government valuation, together with right to renewal for further term of twenty-one years at yearly rent equal to 5 per cent. on the then unimproved value of said land, or with right to compensation for improvements.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Tihiomanono Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Te Araroa on Monday, the 6th day of March, 1916, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“That the Tihiomanono be leased to Paratene Waiti, of Waipiro Bay, farmer, and Kihi Waiti, Piriniha Waiti, Te Tuhi Waiti, all of Tokomaru Bay, farmers, for a term of twenty-one years at a rental not less than 5 per centum per annum of the present value of the said land, with the right to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a rental not less than 5 per centum per annum of the then Government unimproved valuation of the said land, or with the right to compensation for improvements.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Wharekahika 15B Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Te Araroa on Monday, the 6th day of March, 1916, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“That Wharekahika 15B Block be leased to Te Ara-o-Rehua Ahuriri White, of Te Araroa, for twenty-one years at yearly rental equal to 5 per cent. of the Government valuation of the said land, together with a right to a renewal for a further twenty-one years at yearly rental equal to 5 per cent. of the then Government unimproved valuation of the said land, or with right to compensation for improvements in the event of the renewal not being taken.”

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Tangihanga Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Kahukura on Thursday, the 2nd day of March, 1916, at 2 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“That a lease of 1,500 acres of Tangihanga Block be granted to Panikena Kaa for the term of twenty-one years at 5 per cent. on the capital value, with right of renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at 5 per cent. on the then unimproved value; or, alternatively,—

“That the Board be authorized to sell Tangihanga Block or any part thereof to the Crown.”
