Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Waikohu-Matawai 1b Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Gisborne on Friday, the 18th day of February, 1916, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“ That the Waikohu-Matawai 1b Block be sold to Robert Henry Shanks, of Waikohu, sheep-farmer, the present lessee of the said land, at the Government valuation of the owner’s interest.”

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Wharekopae 1b 1, Section 1, Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Gisborne on Friday, the 18th day of February, 1916, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolutions:—
“ That the block known as Wharekopae 1b 1, Section 1, be sold to Euphemia Harris, wife of Albert Ernest Harris, of Wharekopae, sheep-farmer, at a price equivalent to Government capital value of the said block; or, alternatively,—
“ That the Wharekopae 1b 1, Section 1, Block be leased to Euphemia Harris for a term of twenty-one years at a yearly rental equivalent to £5 per centum of the Government valuation, with a right of renewal for further twenty-one years, at a yearly rental of £5 per centum of the then Government value (unimproved).”

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Whatatuna 3c Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Gisborne on Friday, the 18th day of February, 1916, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“ That a lease of the Whatatuna 3c Block be given to Frederick Thomas Kirk, of Te Arai, farmer, for a term of twenty-one years, computed from the 9th day of April, 1916, at a rental not less than £5 per cent. of the present Government valuation of the said land, together with the right to a renewal for further term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to £5 per cent. of the then Government unimproved valuation of the said land.”

REGULATION No. 52.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Wharekahika 18g Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Tokomaru Bay on Thursday, the 24th day of February, 1916, at 3 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“ That the Wharekahika 18g Block be leased to Te Uranga Potae for a term of twenty-one years at a rental not less than 5 per centum per annum of the present value of the said land, with the right to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a rental not less than 5 per centum per annum of the then Government unimproved valuation of the said land, or with the right to compensation for improvements.”

“ That the Puketiti 3 Block be sold to Arthur Merritt Beale, of Waipiro Bay, accountant, at not less than the capital value of the said land.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Rangikohua 4b 2 Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Waipiro Bay on Saturday, the 26th day of February, 1916, at 2 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“ That the Rangikohua 4b 2 Block be sold to Arthur Merritt Beale, of Waipiro Bay, accountant, at not less than the capital value of the said land.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Totaranui 5b Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Tuparoa on Monday, the 28th day of February, 1916, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“ That the Totaranui 5b Block be leased to Eruera Whangapirita, of Tuparoa, for a term of twenty-one years at a rental not less than 5 per centum per annum of the present value of the said land, with the right to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a rental not less than 5 per centum per annum of the then Government unimproved valuation of the said land, or with the right to compensation for improvements.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Mangawhariki 2c Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Tuparoa on Monday, the 28th day of February, 1916, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“ That timber-cutting rights over the Mangawhariki 2c Block be granted to Horomona Kerehi, of Tuparoa, for a term of twenty-one years at the following royalties, viz.: All timber, 1s. per 100 superficial feet; all timber, 5s. per 100 posts.”
