Rearrangement of Duties in connection with the Quartermaster-General (3) Branch of the Quartermaster-General to the Forces.

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to approve of the following rearrangement of duties in connection with the Quartermaster-General (3) Branch of the Department of the Quartermaster-General to the Forces:—
Staff.
Honorary Major James O’Sullivan, Q.M.G. (3), attached N.Z. Staff Corps, relinquishes the appointment of Assistant Quartermaster-General at Headquarters, and is appointed Deputy Inspector, Equipment and Ordnance Stores, with his present rank, and with effect from the 10th April, 1916. Lieutenant (temp. Captain) Thomas McCristell, N.Z. Staff Corps, to be Director of Equipment and Ordnance Stores, Q.M.G. (3), at Headquarters, with the honorary rank of Major while so employed, vice Honorary Major James O’Sullivan, and with effect from 10th April, 1916.

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to abolish, under section 6 (a) of the Defence Act, 1909, the designation of the New Zealand Dental Service Corps, as published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 135, dated 25th November, 1915, and to approve that it be redesignated the “New Zealand Dental Corps.” Dated 24th February, 1916.
