Declaring Portion of Pukeiti Road, in the Waitomo County,
to be a County Road.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this seventeenth
day of April, 1916.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him
by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers
in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of
the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the
portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on
and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county
road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of the Pukeiti Road, in the Taranaki Land
District, Waitomo County, commencing at its junction
with the Nohonoa Road, and proceeding thence in an easterly
direction generally, adjoining or passing through Section
9, Block II, Totoro Survey District, to the south-western
corner of Section 10, Block II, Totoro Survey District, being
a distance of thirty-seven chains, more or less. As the said
portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 39935, deposited in the office of the Minister
of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial
District, and thereon coloured red.

mile 20 chains, more or less. As the said portion of road

Waitomo County, to be a County Road.

ALL that portion of the Te Kumi—Hangatiki Road, in the
Auckland Land District, Waitomo County, commencing at
its junction with the Hangatiki—Waitomo Road, and pro-
ceeding thence in a south-westerly direction generally,
adjoining or passing through Sections No. 1B and C, and
No. 4C 2 (Pukeroa-Hangatiki), Block XII, No. 1E 5C 2A 2
and part of No. 1E No. 4B 2 (Hauturu East), Block XI,
Orahiri Survey District, to a point about twenty-one chains
from the northern boundary of Piha No. 1, Block XI, Orahiri
Survey District ; being a distance of 2 miles 11 chains, more
or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 39952, deposited in
the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in
the Provincial District of Wellington, and thereon coloured
red.

Declaring Bickerstaffe Settlement Roads, in the Otamatea
County, to be County Roads.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this seventeenth
day of April, 1916.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in
him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other
powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excel-
lency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that
the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall,
on and after the date of this Order in Council, become
county roads.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of road, in the Auckland Land District,
Otamatea County, known as Hua Road, commencing at
its junction with Tokatapu Road, and proceeding in a
north-easterly direction generally, adjoining or passing
through Crown land, Block XVI, Matakohe Survey District,
and terminating at the junction with Ford Road and Birtle’s
Bridge ; being a distance of 1 mile 18 chains, more or less.
Also all that portion of road in the said land district com-
mencing at its junction with Ford Road, and proceeding
thence in a south-easterly direction generally, adjoining or
passing through Crown land, Block XVI, Matakohe Survey
District, and terminating at its junction with Hua Road ;
being a distance of twenty-five chains, more or less.
Also all that portion of the Old Landing Road, in the
said land district and county, commencing at its junction
with Tokatapu Road, and proceeding thence in a north-
westcrly direction generally, adjoining or passing through
Crown land, Block XV, Matakohe Survey District, and
terminating at the southern bank of the Te Pahi River ;
being a distance of one mile, more or less.
Also all that portion of the Tokatapu Road, in the said
land district and county, commencing at its junction with
the Pahi—Maungaturoto Road, and proceeding in a north-
westcrly, south-westerly, and easterly direction generally,
adjoining or passing through Crown land, Blocks XVI and
XV, Matakohe Survey District ; being a distance of 5 miles
30 chains, more or less.
As the said roads are more particularly delineated on the
plan marked P.W.D. 39900, deposited in the office of the
Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington
Provincial District, and thereon coloured green, and marked
