Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government roads.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a Government road.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road declared a Government road : 3 acres 1 rood 7·1 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Sections 77 and 124, Ruapekapeka Parish (S.O. 18833), Block XIII, Russell Survey District.
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 39901, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured green.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this seventeenth day of April, 1916.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of the third section of the Land Drainage Act, 1908, a majority of the ratepayers in the area of land described in the Schedule hereto, situated in the Counties of Ohinemuri and Piako, have presented a petition to His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, praying that the said area be constituted a drainage district under the provisions of the said Act :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority contained in the third section of the Land Drainage Act, 1908, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby constitute and declare the area of land described in the Schedule hereto to be a district for the purposes of Part I of the said Act, and to be called by the name of the “Elstow Drainage District”; and also, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority contained in the fourth section of the said Act, doth hereby declare that the Board of Trustees of the said district shall consist of five persons to be elected as members of the said Board, and under and in accordance with the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
ELSTOW DRAINAGE DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point on the left bank of the Waihou River at the crossing of the Paeroa-Tahuna Road; thence along the left bank of that river to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Section 111 in Block IX, Aroha Survey District; thence to and along the north-western boundary of that section and Section 115 to Stanley Road; along the south-western side of that road to the road from Te Aroha to Waihou immediately south-east of the railway; along the north-western side of that road and the road forming the south-eastern boundary of Section 9, Suburbs of Waihou, in Block XVI, Waitoa Survey District, to the southernmost corner of that section; along the eastern side of the road forming the western boundaries of Sections 9 and 8, across the railway, and along the north-eastern side of the road forming the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 18, 24, and 25 to the north-eastern boundary of the Hungahunga Drainage District as described in the New Zealand Gazette of the 12th December, 1912, page 3451, and along the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of that drainage district to the Waitoa River; along the right bank of that river to Section 33, Block XI, Waitoa Survey District; along the south-eastern and north-eastern boundaries of that section to Section 4, Otway Settlement; along the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 4, 5, 6A, and 6B, Otway Settlement, to and across the road forming the north-eastern boundary of that settlement; along the north-eastern side of that road and the south-eastern side of the Paeroa-Tahuna Road to the Waihou River, the place of commencement.

Licensing the Clutha County Council to use and occupy a Part of the Foreshore at Pounawea, Otago, as a Site for a Boat-jetty.

At the Government House at Wellington, this seventeenth day of April, 1916.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS there being no Harbour Board empowered to grant the license hereinafter mentioned, under the Harbours Act, 1908 (hereinafter called “the said Act”), the Clutha County Council (hereinafter called “the Council”) has applied to the Governor in Council for a license under the said Act to occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Pounawea, Otago, in order to erect and maintain a boat-jetty thereon; and, in accordance with the one-hundred-and-fiftieth section of the said Act, has deposited a plan in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, marked M.D. 4587 (in duplicate), showing the area of foreshore and land below low-water mark intended to be occupied, and the manner in which it is proposed to erect the said boat-jetty :
And whereas it has been made to appear to the Governor in Council that the proposed work will not be or tend to the injury of navigation; and the said plan has, prior to the making of this Order in Council, been approved by the Governor in Council :
And whereas it is expedient that a license should be granted and issued to the Council under the said Act, for the purpose last aforesaid, on the terms and conditions hereinafter expressed :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him by the said Act, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the object for which the said license is required by the Council as aforesaid; and, in further pursuance and exercise of the said power and authority, and with the like advice and consent as aforesaid, doth hereby license and permit the Council
