Additional Land at Mangere taken for the Purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway to take further land at Mangere, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 16·2 perches.
Portion of Lot 1 (D.P. 2989), part of Fairburn’s Claim 269A, Manurewa Parish, Block VI, Otahuhu Survey District, Manukau County.
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 23475, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this ninth day of March, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Picton-Hurunui Railway to take further land at Spring Creek, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 36·8 perches, portion of road (S.O.R. 307).
Situated in Block XI, Cloudy Bay Survey District, Marlborough County.
In the Marlborough Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 23337, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this eleventh day of March, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.

Allocating Land reserved and taken for a Railway to the Purposes of a Road in the Spring Creek Road District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of land taken for the purposes of the Picton-Hurunui Railway, and it is considered desirable to allocate such land to the purposes of a road:
And whereas it has been certified by the Minister of Railways that such land is not required for railway purposes: And whereas such land is situated in the Spring Creek Road District, the local authority of which has assented to the issue of this Proclamation:
And whereas His Excellency the Governor is of opinion that the said local authority can conveniently construct and maintain the said road:
Now, therefore I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section one hundred and ninety-seven of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a road, and that the said road shall be under the control of the Spring Creek Road Board, and shall be maintained by the said Board in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Board.

Declaring a Portion of Railway Reserve near Beaumont to be Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section five of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1909, it is provided that in the case of any land taken, purchased, or acquired for a Government work, and not required for that purpose, the Governor may, on recommendation by the Minister, by Proclamation declare such land to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1908, and thereupon the land may be administered and disposed of under that Act accordingly:
And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto has been, inter alia, acquired for the purposes of the Lawrence-Roxburgh Railway by a Proclamation dated the twenty-ninth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 76, of the sixth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen: And whereas the said land is not now required for the purposes of the Lawrence-Roxburgh Railway, and the Minister has recommended that this Proclamation should be issued declaring such land to be Crown land:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by section five of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1909, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1908.
