In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 23467, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this eleventh day of March, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.

Revoking Part of a Proclamation taking Land for a Further Portion of the North Auckland Railway (Branch Line to Whangarei), and for Road-diversions in connection therewith.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by the Public Works Amendment Act, 1909, it is enacted that if at any time after the issue or making of any Proclamation taking land under the Public Works Act, 1908, and before the payment or award of any compensation in respect of the taking thereof, it is found that the land or any part thereof is not required for the purpose for which it was taken, or that any error in form or substance exists in or in relation to that Proclamation, or the making or gazetting thereof, the Governor may, by a subsequent Proclamation gazetted, revoke the former Proclamation, either wholly or so far as he thinks necessary:
And whereas it is found that part of the land taken for a further portion of the North Auckland Railway (branch line to Whangarei), and for road-diversions in connection therewith, by a Proclamation made under the Public Works Act, 1903, dated the seventh day of January, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen (hereinafter termed “the said Proclamation”), and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 2, pages 9 and 10, of the thirteenth day of the same month, is incorrectly described:
And whereas compensation in respect of the taking of the said land has not been paid or awarded:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in me by the Public Works Amendment Act, 1909, and of all other powers enabling me in this behalf, do hereby revoke so much of the said Proclamation as affects the land described in the said Proclamation as set forth in the Schedule hereto.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this thirteenth day of March, 1916.

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain:
And whereas by an Order in Council made on the twenty-first day of September, one thousand nine hundred and four, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-second day of September, one thousand nine hundred and four, powers were delegated to the Rimu Domain Board in respect of the Rimu Domain for a period of ten years:
And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the twentieth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen:
And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the domain:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

ALBERT WILLIAM UPJOHN,
WILLIAM ALFRED CRASE,
ENOCII GROWCOTT, and
JOHN BOYD
to be the Rimu Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the nineteenth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Town Hall, Rimu, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
RIMU DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Westland Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres 0 roods 19 perches, more or less, being Reserve No. 356, Block V, Kanieri Survey District. Bounded by a line commencing at peg No. 5 on the north side of a public road, and proceeding thence in a north-easterly direction along said line bearing N. 10° 40′ E., 1030·1 links, to peg No. 4; thence in a south-easterly direction along a line bearing S. 56° 2′ E., 765·5 links, to peg No. 3; thence in a south-westerly direction along a line bearing S. 15° 2′ W., 464 links, to peg No. 2 on public road aforesaid; and thence again in a south-westerly direction along aforesaid public road bearing S. 79° 2′ W., 718·2 links, to peg No. 5 aforesaid: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 49070, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
