Lands set apart for Disposal by Way of Sale or Lease to Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the Hawke's Bay Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
HAWKE'S BAY LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Hawke's Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 6,873 acres, more or less, being Small Grazing-runs 104 and 105, Maungaharuru Survey District. Bounded towards the north generally by Kaiwaka No. 2 Block and Ohurakura Stream; towards the east by river-bank reserve; towards the south generally by tributary of Esk River, Small Grazing-run 106, public road, Taupo Road, Rural Section 13, and Block 70, Puketapu Crown-grant District; towards the south-west by Sections 88 and 89, Block XLIII, Maungaharuru Survey District; and towards the north-west by public road. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 26/3, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Also all that area in the Hawke's Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 4,665 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Sections 1, 2, and 3 (Heru-a-tureia Block), Block XI, Waitara Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by Pastoral Run No. 9 and Waikare Stream, towards the south-east by Boundary Stream and other part of Heru-a-tureia Block, towards the south-west by Maungharuru Education Reserve, and towards the north-west by Small Grazing-run 107 and public road. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 26/3A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Also all that area in the Hawke's Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 2,443 acres, more or less, exclusive of roads, being (part Otawhao Block) Sections 9 to 19, Block II, and Sections 20 to 28 and 30, Block VI, Takapau Survey District. Bounded towards the north generally by public road and Section 22, cheese-factory site; towards the east generally by Takapau-Kopua Road and Section 29, Block VI, Takapau Survey District; towards the south generally by Otawhao A No. 6r and A No. 9 Blocks and river-bank reserve; and towards the west generally by Sections 202, 203, 204, and public roads. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 26/3B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Also all that area in the Hawke's Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 16,195 acres, more or less, being part of Awa-o-totara Block, Block IV, Maungaharuru Survey District, and Blocks I, II, V, and VI, Moeangi Survey District. Bounded towards the north generally by Waikare River; towards the south by Mangangarara Stream; towards the north-east by other part Awa-o-totara Block retained by non-sellers; towards the north-west generally by public road, non-sellers' block, and Pohatunui Stream; towards the north-east generally by Waikare River; towards the south generally by Matahoura and Waionga-Wahine Streams; and towards the north-west by Heru-a-tureia Block. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 26/3D, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Also all that area in the Hawke's Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 26,220 acres, more or less, being part of Purahotangihia Block, Blocks VII, XI, XII, XV, and XVI, Maungaharuru Survey District, and III and IV, Puketapu Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Maungaharuru Block (education reserve); towards the east generally by Waikoau and Mirau Streams, Arapawanui Block, Tongoio Settlement, Rauiri-Kokomuka Stream, Section 3, scenic reserve, Block IV Puketapu Survey District, public road, and Te Ngaru Stream; towards the south generally by Kongamahanga Stream and Tongoio South, Pakuratahi, and Petane Blocks; and towards the west generally by Waiohinganga or Esk River and Kaiwaka Block. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 26/3E,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Also all that area in the Hawke's Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 1,315 acres, more or less, being part of Te Kuta Block, Block IX, Moeangi Survey District. Bounded towards the north generally by Waikare River; towards the east generally by Mangaruemiha Stream, public road, and Waikare River; towards the south-east by Hawke Bay; and towards the west generally by Section 19, Block IX, Moeangi Survey District, and Whitiwhanga and Pouaru Streams. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 26/3F, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this nineteenth day of February, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this sixteenth day of February, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.
