A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section sixty-three of the Land Laws
Amendment Act, 1913, it is, amongst other things,
enacted that in no case shall any moneys be expended
under the provisions of the said section sixty-three in con-
nection with any block of land, unless that block is set apart
for selection under that section pursuant to Proclamation
in that behalf :
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of every power
and authority enabling me in this behalf, and for the pur-
poses of the aforesaid Act, I, Arthur William de Brito
Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of
New Zealand, do hereby proclaim the land described in the
Schedule hereto as set apart for selection.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.

SECTIONS 1 to 14, 17 and 18, Block V ; 1 to 6, 8 and 9,

S. 4436, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands
and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

of the Picton-Hurunui Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use,
convenience, and enjoyment of the Picton-Hurunui
Railway to take further land near Mount Pleasant, in
addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of
the said railway :
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me
by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight
of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power
and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above
mentioned.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 1 rood 3.6 perches.
Portion of road (S.O.R. 309), Block XV, Linkwater Survey
District, Picton Road District.
In the Marlborough Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 23396,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wel-
lington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon
coloured green.
