Declaring Portions of Road in Block XIII, Rangauvu Survey District, to be Government Roads.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this tenth day of January, 1916.

Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government roads.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Dorie Domain.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this fourth day of January, 1916.

Present:
The Right Honourable W. F. Massey, P.C., presiding in Council.

WHEREAS by section forty-seven of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, by Order in Council gazetted, appoint any local authority to be a Domain Board having, subject to the said Act, control of any public domain:
And whereas by an Order in Council made on the twentieth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and eight, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, of the twenty-sixth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and eight, a Domain Board was appointed to control the Dorie Domain:
And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the nineteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen:
And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the domain:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint the

SOUTH RAKAIA ROAD BOARD
to be the Dorie Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Tuesday, the first day of February, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, at ten o’clock a.m., as the time when, and the Road Board Office, South Rakaia, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.
DORIE DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 4 acres, more or less, being reserve numbered 3568, and formerly part of Reserve 2223, situate in Block VI, Rakaia Survey District. Bounded towards the north by McCrory’s Road, which forms the southern boundary of Section No. 28394, 1128 links; towards the east by the remaining portion of Reserve 2223, 709·8 links; and towards the south-west by the road which forms the north-eastern boundary of Section No. 26781, 1333 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated upon the plan marked S.G. 42460, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Runaruna Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this fourth day of January, 1916.

Present:

WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain:
And whereas it appears expedient to appoint a Domain Board to control the Runaruna Domain:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

ALBERT HERBERT BENNETT,
GEORGE BUCHANAN,
VICTOR LINDEN HAWKE,
KOSSUTH NEWMAN,
CHARLES HENRY IRVINE,
JAMES ROWAN BRUCE, and
THOMAS HEHIR
to be the Runaruna Domain Board, having control of the land described in the said Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the twenty-ninth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and Mr. Hawke’s residence, Runaruna, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.
RUNARUNA DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing 5 acres 2 roods 32 perches, more or less, being Section 49, Block III, Whangape Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by Section 40, Block III, Whangape Survey District, 1168·6 links; towards the east, south-east, and south-west by public roads, 115·9, 401·4, 201·5, 454·9, 222·4, 242·1, 125·3, 330·6, and 342·4 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/560, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
