Also all that area in the Auckland Land District, being Lots Nos. 51, 51A, 55, and N., M., and S. portions of Lots 56 and 211 of Section 1, small lots near Village of Panmure, containing by admeasurement 8 acres 0 roods 33 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the north by a public road, 520 links; towards the east and north-west by Lot No. 53 of Section 1, small lots near Village of Panmure aforesaid, 350 and 420 links respectively; towards the north-east by Lot 54 of said Section 1, 600 links; towards the south-east by a public road, 840 links; towards the south-west and again towards the south-east by Section 43 of Section 1 aforesaid, 600 and 344 links respectively; and towards the west by Lot 52 of Section 1 aforesaid, 950 links; be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
As the same are delineated on plans marked 1/20, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, and thereon edged red. (Auckland Plans Nos. 14224 and 679, blue.)

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Hillersden Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this sixteenth day of October, 1916.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.
WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed "the said Act"), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to the said Act, control of such domain:
And whereas by an Order in Council made on the twenty-sixth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-eighth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, the domain described in the Schedule hereto was brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act:
And whereas it appears expedient to appoint a Domain Board to control the said domain:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
ERNEST HENRY WILLIAMS, JOSEPH PARFITT, GEORGE HOWARD BROADBRIDGE, JAMES WILLIAM BROWN, and HENRY ALBERT TOMS
to be the Hillersden Domain Board, having the control of the land described in the said Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Tuesday, the thirty-first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Hillersden Public School as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
HILLERSDEN DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Marlborough Land District, containing by admeasurement 34 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Section 5, Block IV, Mount Olympus Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by Section 4, Block IV, aforesaid, 2681·7 links; towards the north-east by part Section 18, Block IV aforesaid, 1674·1 links; towards the south-east by Section 41, Block IV aforesaid, and a public road, 2446·2 links; and towards the south-west by the Northbank Road, 957·2 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. I/563, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
WILLIAM NEWMAN, ROLAND WORDSWORTH, JOHN HAWTHORN MCCARROLL, ANTHONY KEANE, and WILLIAM CORKILL
to be the Aratapu Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Thursday, the second day of November, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Public Library, Aratapu, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
ARATAPU DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, being Section No. 42, Kopuru Parish, and containing by admeasurement 44 acres 1 rood 35 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the north-west, the north, the north-east, the south-east, and the south-west by public roads, 3236·3 links, 202·4 links, 2126·2 links, 3000 links, and 650·1 links respectively: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1258, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Prohibiting all Private Alienation of certain Native Land.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this sixteenth day of October, 1916.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor in Council.
ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby prohibit, for the period of one year from the date of this Order in Council, all alienations of the Native land specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienations in favour of the Crown.
