with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the
portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall,
on and after the date of this Order in Council, become
a county road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of road in the Wellington Land District,
Wanganui County, known as Burrell Road, commencing at
its junction with the Wanganui to Raetihi Road at a point
sixty-four chains from the northern boundary of Section 1,
Block VI, Mangawhero Survey District, and proceeding
thence generally in a northerly direction along the eastern
bank of the Mangawhero River, and terminating at and
including Burrell’s Bridge over the said river; being a dis-
tance of forty chains, more or less. As the said portion of
road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
P.W.D. 41162, deposited in the office of the Minister of
Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial
District, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Portion of the Opotiki-Motu Road, in the Opotiki
County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this sixteenth
day of October, 1916.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him
by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other
powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excel-
lency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that
the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall,
on and after the date of this Order in Council, become
a county road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of the Opotiki-Motu Road, situated in the
Hawke’s Bay and Auckland Land Districts, Opotiki County,
commencing at Trig. Station 769 on the south-eastern corner
of Whitikau No. 3A Block, Block VII, Urutawa Survey Dis-
trict, and extending thence generally in a north-westerly
direction adjoining or passing through the said Whitikau
No. 3A Block, Sections 2 (education reserve), Block I, Urutawa
East Survey District, and 1, Blocks I, Urutawa East Survey
District, and VII, Urutawa Survey District, Section 1, and
Whitikau No. 3A Block, Block VII, Urutawa Survey District,
to its junction with the Motu Falls to Whitikau Road in the
said Whitikau 3A Block; being a total distance of five miles,
more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 41130, deposited in
the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in
the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Portion of Road in Block II, Tangitu Survey
District, to be a Government Road.

At the Government House at Wellington, this sixteenth

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by

ment road : 37 perches.

Adjoining or passing through Crown land, Block II, Tangitu
Survey District (Taranaki R.D.).

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 41104,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works
at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and
thereon coloured green.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Mount Wellington
Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this sixteenth
day of October, 1916.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves
and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the
said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time
to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such
persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain
Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of
such domain :

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the fifth
day of October, one thousand nine hundred and nine, and
published in the New Zealand Gazette of the seventh day
of October, one thousand nine hundred and nine, a Domain
Board was appointed to control the Mount Wellington
Domain :

And whereas the period for which the said Board was
appointed expired on the fourth day of October, one thousand
nine hundred and sixteen :

And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a
Domain Board to control the domain :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Do-
minion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred
by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby appoint

GEORGE HENRY KAY,
SELWYN BELGIN IRELAND LITTLE HAMLIN,
ALFRED JAMES LOOMB,
HENRY BROWN, and
ANDREW STEVENSON THOMPSON

to be the Mount Wellington Domain Board, having the con-
trol of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the
purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act ;
and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the fourth day of
November, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, at ten
o’clock a.m., as the time when, and the Panmure Hall as the
place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

MOUNT WELLINGTON DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, being part of
Allotments Nos. 56 and 64 of Section 12, Suburbs of Auck-
land,* Block II, Otahuhu Survey District, containing by
admeasurement 60 acres 0 roods 17 perches, more or less.
Bounded towards the north-east by other part of Allotment
No. 56 aforesaid, 1759·1 links; towards the east generally
by Lots Nos. 13 and 12 of Section No. 2, small lots near the
Village of Panmure, by the abutment of a public road 100
links wide, and by Lots Nos. 11 and 10 of Section No. 2,
small lots near Village of Panmure aforesaid, 432·6, 729·5,
101·6, 751·2, and 570·6 links; towards the south-west by a
public road, 843·3 and 358·3 links; towards the north-west
by part Lot No. 64 aforesaid, 669·8 links; again towards the
south-west by part of Lot 64 aforesaid, 1400·1 links; towards
the south-east by the aforesaid part Lot 64, 650 links; again
towards the south-west by Lot No. 3 of Section No. 2 afore-
said, 377·1 links; again towards the north-west by Lot No. 2
of said Section 2, 310·4 links; again towards the south-west
by the aforesaid Lot 2, 526·2 links; towards the north-west
generally by Allotments 51 and 50 of Section 12, Suburbs
of Auckland aforesaid, 138·2, 904·2, 467·9, 515, and 643·6
links.
