Expeditionary Force, is cancelled, under provisions of
Section 5(a) of the Defence Act, 1909. Dated 4th August,

the Tuakau Town Board, is published in accordance
with the provisions of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913.

TUAKAU TOWN BOARD.
Notice of Result of Poll on Proposal to raise Loan of Β£12,000.
I HEREBY give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of
the Town Board District of Tuakau taken on the 20th day
of September, 1916, on the proposal of the Town Board to
borrow the sum of Β£12,000 for public works in the Town
Board District (the said works having been fully set out in
the local newspaper notices required under the Act), the
result of the poll was as follows: The number of votes
recorded for the proposal was 118; the number of votes
recorded against the proposal was 27; informal votes, 4.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
