Stopping a Government Road in Block II, Tutumoe Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by paragraph (c) of section one hundred and thirty-three of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may, by Proclamation publicly notified, stop or alter the course of any Government road or any part thereof:

And whereas the Government road described in the Schedule hereto is no longer required for the purpose of a road:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim as stopped the road described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road hereby stopped: 8 acres 2 roods 7 perches.

Adjoining or passing through Section 3 and Crown land, Block II, Tutumoe Survey District (S.O. 19108).

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 40882, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this second day of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.

Land taken for the Purposes of the Development of the Lake Coleridge Water-power Scheme in Block XIII, Hawkins Survey District (Hororata Substation).

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for a certain public work—to wit, for the development of the Lake Coleridge water-power scheme in Block XIII, Hawkins Survey District (Hororata Substation):

And whereas an agreement has been entered into, in terms of section twenty-seven of the said Act, to take such land for the public work hereinafter set forth:

And whereas a plan has been prepared, and the Minister has recommended the Governor to issue a Proclamation taking the land as required by the said Act:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, and being satisfied of the sufficiency of the agreement hereinbefore referred to, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the development of the Lake Coleridge water-power scheme, Hororata Substation; and I also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fourteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 5 acres 3 roods 39 perches.

Portion of Rural Sections 15637 and 15637x, Block XIII, Hawkins Survey District (Canterbury R.D.).

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 40932, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this second day of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.

Land taken for the Purposes of an Isolation Ward in the Borough of Wairoa.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for a certain public work—to wit, for the purposes of an isolation ward in the Borough of Wairoa:

And whereas the Wairoa Hospital and Charitable Aid Board has laid before the Governor a memorial, accompanied by a map in duplicate, and also the statutory declaration, as required by the said Act:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Act, 1909, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of an isolation ward, and shall vest in the Wairoa Hospital and Charitable Aid Board on and after the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eighteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 4 acres 2 roods 25·3 perches.

Being Lot 1, part of Suburban Section 53, Class 2, Township of Clyde, Borough of Wairoa.

In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 41066, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon edged green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this fourth day of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.
