Crown Land set apart for Disposal by Way of Sale or Lease to Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the Canterbury Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the areas of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section three of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the areas of Crown lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby set apart for selection by discharged soldiers, under the Land Act, 1908.

Section 1, Block VII, Lowry Peaks Survey District, Cheviot County: Area, 2,097 acres 1 rood 33 perches.
National Endowment.

Section 36815, Blocks XI, XII, XV, and XVI, Bourke Survey District, Mackenzie County: Area, 4,790 acres.

Declaring Land set apart as a Scenic Reserve under the Land Act, 1892, to be subject to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was by Warrant dated the twenty-third day of June, one thousand nine hundred and seven, permanently set apart as a reserve for scenery preservation purposes under the provisions of the Land Act, 1892: And whereas it is expedient that the said land should be declared a reserve under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, from and after the date hereof, be a scenic reserve under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and its amendments,
SCHEDULE.
All that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 19 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Section No. 11, Block XV, Rahu Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west generally by a public road along the eastern bank of the River Rahu; towards the north-east by Section No. 3 of the said Block XV, 1950 links; and towards the south by Sections Nos. 9 and 10, Block III, Lewis Survey District, 2250 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 55636/1B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
