MANAWATU COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Manawatu County Council hereby resolves as follows:-
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £600, authorized to be raised by the Manawatu County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the construction and metalling of Bainesse Road, the said Manawatu County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of fifteen-sixteenths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Bainesse Road Special-rating District, comprising Lots 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, of Section 320, Block XV, Te Kawau Survey District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off. First year's interest to be paid out of loan."
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Manawatu County Council held at the County Offices, Sanson, on Tuesday, 6th day of July, 1915.

KAIRANGA COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Kairanga County Council hereby resolves as follows:-
"That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest and sinking fund and other charges on the loan of £5,500, authorized to be raised by the said Council, under section 44 of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1914, and under section 16 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of surveying, constructing, and metalling all the roads required for the purposes of the subdivision of the Lockwood Block, the said Kairanga County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1/6 penny in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property in the Lockwood Block Special-rating Area, containing about three thousand (3,000) acres, and being Sections Nos. 2, 3, and 4, Aorangi No. 2 Block, and comprised in certificates of title, Volume 36, folios 201 and 202, and Volume 37, folio 199, Wellington Registry; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first day of May and the first day of November in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half years. or until the loan is fully paid off."
We hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a resolution passed by the Kairanga County Council at a meeting held on the 5th day of August, 1915.

WINDING-UP ORDER.-
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908; and in the matter of the BRITISH EMPIRE PETROLEUM COMPANY OF NEW ZEALAND (LIMITED).
BY an order made by His Honour Mr. Justice Edwards in the above matter, dated the 6th day of August, 1915, on the petition of John George Findlay, K.C.M.G., and Frederick George Dalziel, both of Wellington, Solicitors, lately carrying on business in copartnership under the style of "Findlay, Dalziel, & Co.," it was ordered that the said company, the British Empire Petroleum Company of New Zealand (Limited), be wound up by the Supreme Court under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1908; and that the said order be served upon the said company, and upon the Official Liquidator thereof; and that the question of costs of and incidental to the said petition and order be reserved.

I HEREBY certify that the following resolution was duly passed at a properly constituted meeting of the Portobello Road Board on the 5th day of August, 1915.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Portobello Road Board hereby resolves as follows :-
"That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also other charges on a loan of £700 (seven hundred pounds), authorized to be raised by the Portobello Road Board, under the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, for the erection of a new bridge at Anderson's Bay, and the deviation of Hooper's Inlet Hill Road, the said Portobello Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-sixteenth of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Portobello Road District, comprising the whole of the said road district; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 12th day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
ONE-TREE HILL ROAD BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE ON A LOAN OF £500, BEING PORTION OF 10 PER CENT. ADDITIONAL IN RESPECT OF THE ORIGINAL LOAN OF £19,470, TO COMPLETE THE DRAINAGE-WORKS.
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the One-tree Hill Road Board resolves as follows :-
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also other charges on a loan of £500, authorized to be raised by the One-tree Hill Road Board, under the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of completing the drainage of the special-rating area hereinafter mentioned, the One-tree Hill Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one sixty-fourth of a penny (1/64th) in the pound on the capital value of all rateable property in the special-rating area comprising that portion of the One-tree Hill Road District commencing at the north-east boundary of Allotment 1 of 23 of Section 11; by the Great South Road to the crossing of that road and Greenlane; again towards the south-east by Greenlane aforesaid to the north-western boundary of Allotment No. 10, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland; by that allotment and Allotments Nos. 13, 11, and 12 of the same section to Raglan Street to Manukau Road; thence along the eastern boundary to the aforesaid Manukau Road to the starting-point. And such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
The common seal of the Inhabitants of the One-tree Hill Road District was affixed hereto at a special meeting and by order of the One-tree Hill Road Board on the 6th day of August, 1915, in the presence of--
