SCHEDULE.
PART I.
Description and Purpose of Original Reserve.
ALL that area in Lewis and Travers Survey Districts, in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 6,000 acres, more or less, and being Section 2 of Square 182. Bounded towards the north generally (52000 links and 18800 links), towards the east (8400 links), towards the south generally (20400 links and 52000 links), and towards the west (8400 links), by Crown lands; be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; the northernmost corner commencing at a point about 150 chains from the junction of the Alfred and Maruia Rivers.
Reserved for purposes of public utility by notification in the Nelson Provincial Gazette of the 24th of February, 1875, page 22.
PART II.
Description of Portion of Reserve the Purpose of which it is intended to change.
All that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 17 acres 2 roods 15 perches, more or less, being part of Section 2 of Square 182, and now numbered as Section 2, Block IV, Lewis Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by a part of the first-mentioned Section 2, 1971·6 links; towards the north-east by a road along the left bank of the Maruia River, 1040·7 links; towards the south-east by another part of the first-mentioned Section 2, 1637 links; and towards the south-west by a line being part of the south-western boundary of the said Section 2, Square 182, 1093·4 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: excepting the road one chain wide which intersects the land included within the above-described boundaries. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1911/723A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
PART III.
Intended Purpose.
Resting-place for travelling stock.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the fourth section of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
CHARLES SEYMOUR
to be a Trustee, in the place of Ole Isakson, deceased, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Hastwell Public Cemetery, in conjunction with Ephraim Fildesley and Lars Peter Halberg, previously appointed.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen.

Appointing a Member of the Foxton Harbour Board.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
WHEREAS it is provided by the eleventh section of the Harbours Amendment Act, 1910, that if any constituent district or combined district fails at any election to elect the required number of representatives, the Governor may by Warrant under his hand appoint such qualified persons as he thinks fit to be the representatives of that district in lieu of those who ought to have been elected; and the persons so appointed shall hold office in all respects as if they had been duly elected in conformity with the said Act:
And whereas a member of the Foxton Harbour Board should have been elected by the electors of the County of Manawatu on the twenty-eighth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen: And whereas through an oversight no election was held:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the hereinbefore-recited power and authority, doth hereby appoint WALTER EDWARD BARBER to be a member of the Foxton Harbour Board as a representative of the electors of the County of Manawatu to fill the vacancy caused by the before-mentioned failure to elect.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-second day of July, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen.

Amendments to the Regulations under the Public Service Act, 1912.
IN pursuance and exercise of the authority conferred on him by the Public Service Act, 1912 (hereinafter called “the said Act”), the Commissioner, with the approval of the Governor in Council, doth hereby, in respect of the regulations made under the said Act on the thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, and the amendments thereof, make the amendments shown in the Schedule hereto. Such amendments shall have effect from and after the date of publication thereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
SCHEDULE.
REGULATION No. 173, as amended on the 1st April, 1914, is hereby further amended by deleting the words “the 15th September if it is accompanied with a receipt for a late fee of £1,” and inserting in lieu thereof the words “the 22nd September if it is accompanied with a receipt for a late fee of 10s.”
Regulation No. 177, as amended on the 1st April, 1914, is hereby further amended by deleting the words “in the two subjects named below as constituting Group I,” and inserting in lieu thereof the words “in the three subjects named below as constituting Group I.” The regulation is further amended by deleting “2,200” as the total of marks assignable wherever it occurs, and inserting in lieu thereof the total “2,300.”
Regulation No. 178, as amended on the 1st April, 1914, is hereby further amended by adding, after the subject “English” in Group I, the subject “(1A.) Dictation and Handwriting (including the copying of manuscript): Maximum marks, 100.”
