(d.) The sum to be borrowed for all such purposes is £22,000,
at a rate of interest not exceeding £5 per cent. per
annum, with a sinking fund of ½ per cent. additional.
(e.) The proposed security for the said loan of £22,000 and
the interest and sinking fund thereon is an annually
recurring special rate of 3½d. in the pound on the
annual value of all rateable property in the said
borough; and it is proposed to repay the money
on the 1st day of April, 1933.
(f.) It is proposed to pay out of the loan the costs of raising
the loan, and the interest and sinking fund thereon
for the first year,—
the said Corporation of the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses
of the Borough of New Plymouth, New Zealand, hereby
makes and levies a special rate of 3½d. in the pound upon the
rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of
New Plymouth; and that such special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable
half-yearly on the 1st day of January and the 1st day of July
in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being
a period of 18 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
The above resolution was duly passed on the 15th day of
June, 1915.

HUNTERVILLE TOWN BOARD.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the
Huntersville Town Board resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of one hundred pounds (£100), authorized
to be raised by the Hunterville Town Board, under the above-
mentioned Act, for erecting a footbridge over the Porewa
Stream, the said Hunterville Town Board hereby makes and
levies a special rate of three-elevenths of a penny in the
pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the
Porewa Footbridge Special-rating District, comprising part of
Section two hundred and thirty-six (236), and Sections two
hundred and thirty-seven (237), two hundred and forty-nine
(249), two hundred and fifty (250), two hundred and fifty-one
(251), two hundred and fifty-two (252), two hundred and
fifty-three (253), Hunterville Village Settlement, and Sec-
tion one (1), Hunterville Extension, with railway land adjoining
same, all in the Hunterville Town District, and more par-
ticularly described in the special roll of the said special-rating
district; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring
rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly
on the first day of August in each and every year during the
currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a
half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

PAHIATUA COUNTY COUNCIL.

SPECIAL LOAN, £1,000.—KAITAWA RIDGE ROAD.—RESOLU-
TION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the
Pahiatua County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of one thousand pounds, authorized to be
raised by the Pahiatua County Council, under the above-
mentioned Act, for metalling a portion of the Kaitawa Ridge
Road, the said Pahiatua County Council hereby makes and
levies a special rate of one penny and a sixth of a penny in
the pound upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable
property of the Kaitawa Ridge Road Special-rating Area,
comprising Sections 13, 58, 59, 60, 65, 66, Block XII, Makuri
Survey District; Sections 6, 7, 15, Block I, Puketoi Survey
District. And that such special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable
on the first day of April in each and every year during the
currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until
the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed
at a meeting of the Pahiatua County Council held on the
18th day of April, 1915.

PARIHAKA ROAD DISTRICT.

KAWEORA ROAD LOAN OF £600.—RESOLUTION MAKING
SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the
Parihaka Road Board hereby resolves as follows:—
“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of six hundred pounds (£600), authorized
to be raised by the Parihaka Road Board, under the above-
mentioned Act, for the purpose of culverting and draining
that part of the Kaweora Road from the Wiremu Road down
to the part now made, a distance of about four miles, the
said Parihaka Road Board hereby makes and levies a special
rate of 11/32d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all
rateable property of the Kaweora Road No. 1 Special-rating
Area, comprising Sections 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 43, 44, 45,
Block X, Sections 3, 4, 5, 7, 13, 14, 15, Block VIII, Sections
84, 85, 86, 87, 88, Block XI, Opunake S.D.; and that such
special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day
of April in each and every year during the currency of such
loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully
paid off.”
I certify that this resolution was duly made and passed on
the 11th March, 1915.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership lately
subsisting between the undersigned JAMES RANDALL
LITTEN, DAVID CAIRNS, and CONSTANTINE ALEXANDER DO-
COOKIN, carrying on business as Sawmillers at Southbridge,
under the style of “The Southbridge Timber Company,”
has been dissolved by mutual consent as from this date so
far as concerns the said JAMES RANDALL LITTEN, who retires
from the said firm.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership which has
for some time past been carried on by JOHN GEORGE
COOPER and CHARLES JULIAN PHILLIPS, under the name of
“Cooper & Phillips,” at Darby’s Buildings, Queen Street,
Auckland, in the trade or business of Wholesale Stationers
and Printers, has this day been dissolved by mutual consent.
The business will in future be carried on by JOHN GEORGE
COOPER, of Auckland aforesaid, under the name of “J. G.
Cooper.” All debts due and owing by the late firm will be
paid by the said JOHN GEORGE COOPER, to whom all out-
standing accounts will be paid.
