Cancelling License of R. Powley and Co.’s Warehouse.

Wellington, 30th June, 1915.

I HEREBY give notice that the license of R. Powley and
Co.’s warehouse, issued on the 5th January, 1915, is
cancelled as from the 27th day of June, 1915, such warehouse
having on that date ceased to be occupied by the licensee as
a licensed warehouse.

Sale and Removal of Wrecks of “Walkure” and “Zelee” in
Papeete Harbour.

A NOTICE has been received from the Consular
Agent for France at Wellington that the authorities
at Tahiti will receive offers for the purchase and removal of
the wrecks of the gunboat “Zelee” and the s.s. “Walkure,”
now lying in the harbour of Papeete. Specifications, to which
the sale and removal will be subject, can be seen at the
Marine Department at Wellington.

Cancelling License of Scoular’s Warehouse, Dunedin.

I HEREBY give notice that the license of Scoular’s ware-
house, Dunedin, issued on the 5th January, 1915, is
cancelled as from the 28th day of June, 1915, such warehouse
having on that date ceased to be occupied by the licensee
as a licensed warehouse.

Bonus on Mineral Oil produced in New Zealand.

Mines Department,
Wellington, 2nd July, 1915.

NOTICE is hereby given that the notice dated 21st
December, 1910 (hereinafter referred to as “the
said notice”), appearing in the New Zealand Gazette of
22nd December, 1910, page 4302, stating the terms upon
which a bonus of £10,000 will be paid for the production of
mineral oil is hereby amended as follows:—
(a.) In lieu of the provision in paragraph 1 (c) in the said
notice, that £2,500 will be paid on proof being submitted
that not less than 1,000,000 gallons of marketable crude oil
has been won, it is hereby provided that £1,250 will be paid
on proof being submitted that not less than 750,000 gallons
of marketable crude oil has been won; and that £1,250 will
be paid on similar proof that not less than 1,000,000 gallons
of marketable crude oil has been won.
(b.) The date within which the claim to the aforesaid
bonus must be made, and the conditions duly fulfilled, as
required by paragraph 3 of the said notice, is hereby extended
to 31st December, 1915.

Notice of Intention to take Land in Blocks XIII, Manga-
orongo, and I, Pakaumanu Survey Districts, for Road
Purposes.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the
provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, to execute
a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a road in
Blocks XIII, Mangaorongo, and I, Pakaumanu Survey
Districts; and for the purposes of such public work the
land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be
taken. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of
the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-
office at Te Kuiti, and is there open for inspection; and
that all persons affected by the execution of the said public
work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have
any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said
public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the
same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days
from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of
Public Works at Wellington.


SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land required to be
taken:—
1 acre 2 roods 28 perches, portion of Rangitoto-Tuhua
69b. Situated in Blocks XIII, Mangaorongo, and I,
Pakaumanu Survey Districts (S.O. 18173). Coloured
red on plan.
2 roods 2 perches, portion of Section 7. Situated in
Block XIII, Mangaorongo Survey District (S.O.
18173). Coloured yellow on plan.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 37956,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and
thereon coloured as above mentioned.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the
provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, to execute
a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a post-
office in Block I, Otahuhu Survey District; and for the
purposes of such public work the land described in the
Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is
hereby further given that the plan of the land so required
to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Auckland, and
is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected
by the execution of the said public work or by the taking
of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded

taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and

deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and
thereon coloured red.
