THE following notice, received from the Rodney County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913.

RODNEY COUNTY COUNCIL.

Bridge Rate Poll.

A poll to establish a bridge fund rate of one farthing in the pound upon the rateable value of all the rateable property within the County of Rodney was taken, in accordance with section 23 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, on Friday, 21st May, 1915, when the following votes were recorded : For the proposal, 475 ; against the proposal, 127.

I therefore declare the proposal carried.

BULLER COUNTY COUNCIL.

Notice of Result of Poll on Proposal to raise a Loan.

In accordance with section 12 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, I have to notify that at a poll of ratepayers of the County of Buller taken on the 18th day of June, 1915, on the proposal of the Buller County Council to borrow the sum of £2,000 for the purpose of quarrying, burning, and selling lime the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 590, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 27.

I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

Result of Poll.

Pursuant to section 12 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Waipawa taken on the 16th day of June, 1915, on the proposal to raise a special loan of £1,000 (one thousand pounds) for improvements, &c., to Coronation Park, the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 59, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 11.

I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

Result of Poll for a Loan of £2,000.

Poll taken on the 20th May, 1915, on the proposal of the Edendale Town District Commissioners, by way of special order, to raise a loan under the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, for the sum of two thousand pounds sterling, for the following works: Street formation and drainage, £1,900; street lighting, £100—£2,000.

Security: Special rate. First year's interest and sinking fund to be a charge on the loan.

There was voted for the proposal, 36; there was voted against the proposal, 2; informal votes, 0; majority in favour of the proposal, 34.

I therefore declare the proposal carried.
