Applications invited for the Position of Farm Hand, Department of Agriculture, Moumahaki Experimental Farm.

Office of Public Service Commissioner,
Wellington, 5th June, 1915.

APPLICATIONS (to be made on P.S.C. Form 17a, obtainable at principal post-offices) will be received by the undersigned up till noon on the 28th June, 1915, for the position of Farm Hand, Department of Agriculture, Moumahaki Experimental Farm.

  1. Applications must be addressed to the Secretary to the Public Service Commissioner, Wellington, and must embrace a statement of education and experience, particulars of age, &c.

  2. Applicants should be first-class vegetable-growers and have a knowledge of fruit-trees. A portion of the duties is to trim all ornamental hedges on the farm, and applicants should therefore be good hands with the hedge-shears.

The appointment will be subject to the provisions of the Public Service Act, 1912.

The position will be graded in the General Division. Salary, £150 per annum.

Applications invited for the Position of Electric Lineman, Tourist Department, Rotorua.

APPLICATIONS will be received by the undersigned up till noon on the 19th June, 1915, for the position of Electric Lineman, Tourist Department, Rotorua.

  1. Applications (to be made on P.S.C. Form 17a, obtainable at principal post-offices) must be addressed to the Secretary to the Public Service Commissioner, Wellington, and must embrace a statement of education and experience, particulars of age, &c.

  2. Applicants should possess previous experience in erection of poles and aerial cables and wires.

The appointment will be subject to the provisions of the Public Service Act, 1912.

The position will be graded in the General Division. Salary, £130 per annum.
