Applicants should be able to turn out neat, clean draughting work, and should be good at lettering and figuring.
The appointment will be subject to the provisions of the Public Service Act, 1912.
The position will be graded in the Clerical Division, Class VII. Salary, £165; maximum, £220 per annum.

The duties to be performed will include the survey of ships, the inspection of all gear used in the working of cargo, the enforcement of the regulations for the protection of life and property on ships, and generally to perform such duties in regard to ships as may be required by the Marine Department.

Applicants must hold a certificate of competency as master ordinary or extra master, and must have had command of a vessel or vessels.
The appointment will be subject to the provisions of the Public Service Act, 1912.
The position will be graded in the Professional Division. Salary, £260 per annum; maximum, £310.

APPLICATIONS (to be made on P.S.C. Form 17A, obtainable at principal post-offices) will be received by the undersigned up till noon on the 28th June, 1915, for the position of Housekeeper, Learners’ Residence, Department of Agriculture, Mowmahaki Experimental Farm.

Applications must be addressed to the Secretary to the Public Service Commissioner, Wellington, and must embrace a statement of education and experience, particulars of age, &c.

The duties appertaining to the position are as follows:—
(a.) To keep the learners’ rooms clean;
(b.) Attend to the beds;
(c.) Wash the bed-linen and underclothing; and
(d.) Keep the bed-linen in repair. -
The person appointed to the position should be of some refinement and capable of controlling boys.

At the present time there are six learners on the farm.
The appointment will be subject to the provisions of the Public Service Act, 1912.
The position will be graded in the General Division. Salary, £90; maximum, £100 per annum (£30 per annum deducted for board and lodging).
