power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section,

Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby prohibit, for the period of one year from the date of this Order
in Council, all alienations of the Native lands specified in
the Schedule hereto other than alienations in favour of the Crown.

Prohibiting Trawling in a Portion of Hawke's Bay.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this thirty-first day of May, 1915.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the fifth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and nine, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 86, of the fourteenth day of the same month, regulations were made prohibiting the taking of fish by trawling and the use of trawl-nets in a portion of Hawke's Bay;

And whereas it is desirable to revoke the said regulations and to make others in lieu thereof:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by section five of the Fisheries Act, 1908 (hereinafter called "the said Act"), and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the hereinbefore recited regulations of the fifth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and nine, and doth hereby make the following regulations in lieu thereof, for the purposes of the said Act.

REGULATIONS.

  1. No person shall haul or use a trawl-net for the purpose of taking fish in that portion of Hawke's Bay inside the following lines, viz.: A straight line drawn from the eastern bank at the mouth of the Tukituki River to the shore end of the Napier Breakwater, and from the trig. on the north-western part of Soinde Island to the Trig. on Tongoio Bluff; such lines being shown in red on plan marked M.D. 4457, and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington.

  2. Any person committing a breach of the above regulation is liable to a penalty of not less than £1 and not exceeding £20.

Declaring Portions of Central and River Roads, in the Pahiatua County, to be County Roads.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this thirty-first day of May, 1915.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portions of roads described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county roads.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of Central Road, in the Wellington Land District, Pahiatua County, commencing at the south-eastern corner of Section 27, Block IV, Mangahao Survey District, and proceeding thence in a northerly, then north-easterly, and then north-westerly direction generally, adjoining or passing through part Section 27, part E.R. 12, Mangatainoka 1BC No. 2B and 1BC No. 2A Blocks, Block IV, Mangahao Survey District, and terminating at its junction with River Road, being a distance of 1 mile 2 chains, more or less.

Also all that portion of River Road in the said land district and county, commencing at its junction with Central Road, and proceeding thence in a north-westerly and then south-westerly direction generally, adjoining or passing through part Mangatainoka 1BC No. 2A, Sections 26, 25, 24, 29, 18, 17, 16, 15, and 14, Block IV, Mangahao Survey District, and terminating at its junction with Mangatainoka North Road, being a distance of 2 miles 33 chains, more or less.

As the said portions of roads are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 37867, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red and green respectively.

Declaring Mounsey's Creek Road, in the Oxford County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this thirty-first day of May, 1915.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that road in the Oxford County, Canterbury Land District, known as the Mounsey Creek Road, commencing at its junction with main Bush Road, and proceeding thence in a north-westerly direction, adjoining Rural Section 19486, Block VI, Oxford Survey District; thence in a north-easterly direction generally, and passing through Rural Sections 25348, part 31140, part 19759, Block VI, Oxford Survey District, Rural Section 22361, Blocks VI and II, Oxford Survey District; and thence in a north-westerly direction generally, passing through Rural Sections part 22398, part 35254, 35255, and part 36750, Block II, Oxford Survey District, and terminating at its junction with Rampaddock Road, being a distance of 162½ chains, more or less; as the road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 37752, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
