and ten, and the fifteenth day of] April, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, shall apply as if incorporated in this Order in Council, with the following exceptions:—
The date of the first election of an additional representative of the Buller County shall be Friday, the eighteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen; and that simultaneously with such election the four representatives of the Westport Borough shall agree among themselves which one of them shall retire from the Board, and failing agreement the matter shall be determined by lot in manner determined by the Board; and none of the four aforesaid members shall be entitled to act in any capacity as member of the Board, after the election of an additional member for the Buller County, until the necessary reduction has been made.

Consenting to stopping Roads in Blocks V and VI, Whangarei Survey District, Whangarei County.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this thirty-first day of May, 1915.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and thirty-three (a) of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is enacted that a local authority shall not declare any county road or district road to be stopped until the consent thereto of the Governor, by Order in Council gazetted, is obtained:
And whereas the Whangarei County Council has applied for such consent in respect of the roads described in the Schedule hereto:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Whangarei County Council stopping the roads described in the Schedule hereto.

Consenting to a Mortgage of Native Land.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this thirty-first day of May, 1915.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section two hundred and thirty of the Native Land Act, 1909, it is provided that no instrument of alienation of Native land by way of mortgage or charge, other than a mortgage or charge in favour of a State Loan Department, shall be confirmed by a Board or the Court without the precedent consent of the Governor in Council:
And whereas application has been made for the consent of the Governor in Council to a mortgage of the block or parcel of land mentioned in the Schedule hereto: And whereas it is expedient that the precedent consent of the Governor in Council should issue:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the confirmation of an alienation by way of mortgage of the block or parcel of land set out in the Schedule hereto. And it is hereby declared that this Order in Council is made under the provisions in that behalf of the Native Land Act, 1909, and shall operate accordingly as a consent of the Governor in Council to the proceedings hereby authorized.

Declaring Land to be no longer subject to Part XIV of the Native Land Act, 1909.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this thirty-first day of May, 1915.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section ninety-six of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, it is enacted that the Governor in Council may from time to time by Order in Council declare that any land subject to Part XIV or XV of the Native Land Act, 1909, and vested in a Maori Land Board, shall no longer be subject to such Parts of that Act, and shall be revested in the Native owners thereof:
And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto, and known as Mangatete Block, is now, by virtue of an Order in Council made on the third day of November, one thousand nine hundred and nine, and by virtue of the provisions of section two hundred and thirty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, subject to Part XIV of the said Act, and vested in the Tokerau District Maori Land Board accordingly:
And whereas the Governor is satisfied that the said land is not subject to any lease, license, contract for sale, or other alienation, and that no moneys are charged on the said land or on the revenue thereof in accordance with the said Act or under any other authority:
And whereas it is expedient that the said land should cease to be subject to Part XIV of the said Act:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by section ninety-six of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall no longer be subject to Part XIV of the Native Land Act, 1909.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land containing by admeasurement 72 acres, more or less, situated in the Kawakawa Survey District, in the Land District of Auckland, and known as the Mangatete Block. Bounded towards the north-east by Ngahuka Block, towards the south-east by Motatau No. 4 Block, and towards the south-west by Motatau No. 3 Block.
