SCHEDULE.

COMMENCING at a point near the most easterly corner of Section 23, Block XII, Maungaru Survey District, marked 115 miles; proceeding thence generally in a north-westerly direction generally for a distance of about 3 miles 30 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c.—viz., part Section 23, Sections 22, 21, 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15, 14, 13, Block XII, Maungaru Survey District, Section 61, Blocks VII, VIII, XI, and XII, Maungaru Survey District, and terminating at a point in Block VII, Maungaru Survey District, on the north-eastern boundary of the said Section 61, marked 118 miles 30 chains; including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses; all in the Auckland Land District: as the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 37743, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this thirty-first day of May, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and fifteen.

Land taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block II, Tautane Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for a certain public work—to wit, for the purposes of a road in Block II, Tautane Survey District:

And whereas all the conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land for the purposes hereinbefore specified have been observed and performed:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the sixteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen.


SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken: 2 roods 35·4 perches and 2 roods 32·7 perches, portions of Porangahau la No. 40, Section 1 (Hawke’s Bay R.D.). Situated in Block II, Tautane Survey District.

In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 37315, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon edged red.

Apportionment of Representation on Buller Hospital and Charitable Aid Board.


LIVERPOOL, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this thirty-first day of May, 1915.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by Order in Council made under the Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Act, 1909, on the ninth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, and published in the Gazette of the tenth idem, an apportionment was made in regard to the representation of contributory districts on the Buller Hospital and Charitable Aid Board:

And whereas by reason of changes in the population and the value of the rateable property in the said contributory districts, it is desirable to revise such apportionment:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred on him by the said Act, doth hereby determine that the number of representatives for the Westport Borough on the Buller Hospital and Charitable Aid Board shall be three, and the number of representatives for the Buller County on the aforesaid Board shall be five, and the apportionment made in respect of the aforesaid Board by the aforesaid Order in Council is hereby revoked; and doth hereby direct that the regulations made by Orders in Council dated the twenty-fourth day of February, one thousand nine hundred
