Allotment 86, Otan Parish; thence across the Wairoa River, by Allotments 86 and 85 to the southern boundary of Allotment 88; thence by the southern boundary of the said Allotment 88 to the road forming its eastern boundary; thence by the western side of this road to a point opposite the westernmost corner of Allotment 96, by a line across the said road to Allotment 96, by the southern boundary of Allotment 96 and the northern side of the road forming its south-eastern boundary and the southern boundary of Allotment 95, and by Allotment 94 to Wharekawa No. 4 Block; thence by part of the western and by the southern boundary of the said Wharekawa No. 4 Block, and by Puwhenua Stream to the sea; thence towards the east by the sea to the Pukorokoro Creek; thence towards the south generally by a right line across the said creek to the northernmost corner of Allotment No. 82, Koheroa Parish; thence by that allotment to the Pukorokoro-Mercer Road; thence by the said road to the Mangatangi Stream; thence by a line along the middle of that stream to its confluence with the Maramarua River; thence by a line along the middle of the Maramarua River to its confluence with the Whangamarino River; thence by a line along the middle of the Whangamarino River to the Waikato River; thence by the left bank of the Waikato River to the sea; and thence towards the south-west by the sea to the South Head of Manukau Harbour, the place of commencement: excepting from the above-described area the Borough of Pukekohe.

BOUNDARIES OF MANUKAU COUNTY.

All that area in the Auckland Land District bounded towards the north generally by the northern side of Portage Road from Manukau Harbour to Otahuhu Creek; thence by Otahuhu Creek to the Tamaki River; thence by the Tamaki River to the sea; thence towards the north and east generally by the sea to the Puwhenua Stream; thence towards the south generally by Franklin County hereinbefore described to the northern boundary of Papakura Town District, and by the northern boundary of the said Papakura Town District to Manukau Harbour; thence toward the west generally by Manukau Harbour to the place of commencement: excepting from the above-described area the Borough of Otahuhu.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majestyโ€™s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this first day of June, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and fifteen.

Declaring certain Areas added to the Counties of Hutt and Horowhenua to be included in certain Ridings of such Counties.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the twenty-seventh day of November, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the third day of December, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, the boundaries of the Counties of Hutt and Horowhenua were altered by the inclusion in each of the said counties of a part of the other: And whereas it is desirable that the area so added to the Hutt County should be included in the Whareroa Riding of that county, and the area added to the Horowhenua Riding should be included in the Te Horo Riding of that county:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section twenty-two of the Counties Act, 1908, do hereby declare that the area included as aforesaid in the Hutt County shall be included in the Whareroa Riding of the said county, and that the boundaries of that riding shall be those set forth in the First Schedule hereto, and that the area included in the Horowhenua County shall be included in the Te Horo Riding of that county, and that the boundaries of that riding shall be those set forth in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

BOUNDARIES OF WHAREROA RIDING, HUTT COUNTY.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District bounded towards the north by a line along the middle of the Waikanae River from the sea to the crossing of the Main Trunk Railway line; thence along the said railway-line to the northern boundary of Subdivision 23 of Ngarara West C Block, and along the said northern boundary to the middle of the Waikanae-Reikiorangi Road; thence south-easterly and again easterly by the middle of that road (crossing the Waikanae River) and the Ngatiawa Road to the bridge crossing the Ngatiawa Stream at the eastern corner of Section 35, Block X, Kaitawa Survey District; thence by the middle of the Ngatiawa Stream to its intersection with the north-eastern boundary of Section 18, Block III, Akatarawa; thence by that boundary, part of the north-western boundary, and by the north-eastern boundary of Section 8, across the road between Sections 8 and 10, and by the northern boundary of Section 10 to its easternmost corner; thence towards the south-east, south, and again towards the south-east by the Mungaroa Riding, as described in the New Zealand Gazette of 12th October, 1899, to the intersection with the Horokiwi Riding; thence towards the south generally by the Horokiwi Riding, as described in the above-mentioned Gazette, to the sea-coast; thence towards the west by the sea to the middle of the Waikanae River, the place of commencement.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

BOUNDARIES OF TE HORO RIDING, HOROWHENUA COUNTY.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District bounded towards the north-east by a line along the middle of the Otaki River from the sea, and including the island of Wanao-te-Marangi, to a point opposite the north-western corner of Section 7A, Block IV, Kaitawa; thence by a line to the said corner, and by the northern boundary of Section 7A to the westernmost corner of the Waihoanga Block; thence by the south-western boundary of the above-mentioned block and its production to the summit of the Tararua Range; thence towards the south-east by the summit of that range to Mount Hector; thence towards the south by a right line to the easternmost corner of Section 10, Block III, Akatarawa Survey District; thence towards the south-west by the northern boundary of Whareroa Riding, Hutt County, hereinbefore described, to the sea at the mouth of the Waikanae River; thence towards the north-west by the sea to the middle of the Otaki River, the place of commencement.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I. Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the owner and mortgagee of the land described in the Schedule hereto, and of the Ohinemuri County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land described in the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 3 acres 2 roods 16 perches.

Portion of Section 10, Block IX, Ohinemuri Survey District.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. XVI/97.
