A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur Wil-
liam de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consent
of the Whangamomona County Council, being the local
authority in whose district the land described in the
Schedule hereto is situated, proclaim as a road the land
described in the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road :
19.4 perches.
Portion of Section 25, Block I, Mahoe Survey District
(Whangamomona Domain).

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. I/304,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Allocating Land reserved and taken for a Railway to the
Purposes of a Street at Appleby.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
forms part of land taken for the purposes of the
Waitaki Bluff Railway (Seaward Bush Branch), and it is
considered desirable to allocate such land to the purposes of
a street:

And whereas it has been certified by the Minister of Rail-
ways that such land is not required for railway purposes:
And whereas such land is situated in the Borough of South
Invercargill, the local authority of which has assented to
the issue of this Proclamation:

And whereas His Excellency the Governor is of opinion
that the said local authority can conveniently construct and
maintain the said street:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl
of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by section one hundred and ninety-seven of

the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and
authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand
Gazette, become a street, and that the said street shall be
under the control of the South Invercargill Borough Council,
and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner
as other public highways are controlled and maintained by
the said Council.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land : 1 rood 13.8 perches.
Portion of railway reserve (S.O. 401, red).
Situated in Block III, Invercargill Hundred, Borough of
South Invercargill.

In the Southland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 22402,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at
Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and
thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William
de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents
of the owners of the land described in the First Schedule
hereto, and of the Waitemata County Council, being the
local authority in whose district the said land is situated,
proclaim as a road the land in Kumeu Survey District
described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby,
with the like consents as aforesaid, proclaim as closed the
road described in the Second Schedule hereto, which is
not required by reason of the road described in the First
Schedule hereto.
