SCHEDULE.

AREA PROPOSED TO BE INCLUDED IN THE BOROUGH OF PUKEKOHE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, being parts of Sections 12, 16, 39, and 24 of the Parish of Pukekohe. Bounded towards the north-east by a right line starting from the point in Section 12 where the present eastern boundary of the borough as described in the New Zealand Gazette of the 25th July, 1912, intersects the south side of the road to Bombay Settlement to a point on the north-west boundary of Section 19 at 7 chains from its westernmost corner; thence towards the south-east by the north-western boundaries of Sections 19 and 24 to the western side of the Main Trunk Railway; thence again towards the north-east by the aforesaid railway to the northern boundary of Allotment 4 of Section 24; thence again towards the south-east by the aforesaid Allotment 4 to the intersection with the present eastern boundary of the borough; thence towards the west by the aforesaid boundary to the place of commencement.

Notice respecting Proposed Alteration of Boundaries of the Borough of Pukekohe.

Wellington, 15th April, 1915.

PURSUANT to section 14 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1913, it is hereby notified that a petition, in accordance with regulations, signed by not less than one-fourth of the electors of the area described in the Schedule hereto, being part of the Borough of Pukekohe, has been presented to His Excellency the Governor, praying that the said area may be excluded from the said borough and included in the County of Franklin. All persons affected are hereby called upon to lodge any written objections to or petitions against the proposed alteration within one month from the first publication of this notice. Such objections or petitions are to be addressed and forwarded to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington.

SCHEDULE.

AREA PROPOSED TO BE EXCLUDED FROM BOROUGH OF PUKEKOHE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, being the south-western portion of the Borough of Pukekohe. Bounded towards the north-east generally by a line along the middle of a road which intersects the road forming the north-western boundary of the borough at the northern corner of Allotment No. 108 of Section 2, Parish of Pukekohe, to the north-western boundary of Allotment 93 of the said Section 2; thence by part of the north-western, by the north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of Allotment 93, to a point on the road forming the said south-eastern boundary opposite the north-eastern boundary of Allotment 76, across the said road and by the north-eastern and part of the south-eastern boundaries of said Allotment 76, across a road and by the north-eastern boundaries of Allotments 69 and 68, part of the south-eastern boundary of 68, across a road and by Allotments 67, 62, and 61 to the road-junction to the south-west of 61, across the road and by Allotments 245, 262, and 263 to a point on the road and forming its southern boundary opposite the western boundary of Allotment 268, across the said road and by Allotment 268 to its south-western corner; thence towards the north by the said Allotment 268, across a road and by Allotments 266 and 265 and the southern boundary of 265 produced to meet the south-eastern boundary of the borough in Section 47; thence towards the south-east, south-west, and north-west by the said borough boundary: as the same is described in the New Zealand Gazette of 25th July, 1912, to the place of commencement.

Also all that area within the northern boundary of the borough bounded towards the west, north, and east by the present borough boundary from its angle in the middle of the road forming the south-eastern boundary of Allotment 136 of Section 2, Parish of Pukekohe, to the point where the southern boundary of Allotment 7 of Section 4 produced meets the eastern boundary of the borough in Section 3; thence towards the south-east generally by a right line to the south-western corner of the above-mentioned Allotment 7 and its production to the middle of a road; thence by the middle of this road to the east and south of Allotment 295 of Section No. 2 and to the south of Allotments 250 and 112 to the road-junction to the south-west of 112; thence to the south-east corner of Allotment 127, by Allotments 127, 128, across a road, by 133, 134, 135, and the western boundary of 135 produced to the middle of a road; thence by the middle of this road to meet the present boundary of the borough at the place of commencement.

Also all that area within the south-eastern boundary of the borough, being parts of Sections 24, 80, 46, and 47 of the Parish of Pukekohe. Bounded towards the east and south-east by the present boundary of the borough from the point where the said boundary intersects the south-eastern boundary of Allotment 3 of Section 24 to the point in Section 47 where the southern boundary of Allotment 265 of Section 2 produced meets the boundary of the borough; thence towards the north-west by a right line to the southernmost corner of Allotment 3 aforesaid; thence by Allotment 3 to the place of commencement.

Notifying Land in the Auckland Land District subject to the Land for Settlements Act, 1908.

PURSUANT to the provisions of the Land for Settlements Act, 1908, and its amendments, I hereby notify that the undermentioned Crown land, being the land known as the Otway Settlement, which has been acquired under the said Acts, is subject to the said Acts as from 1st August, 1914.

SCHEDULE.

OTWAY SETTLEMENT.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing 1,650 acres 1 rood 15 perches, more or less, being Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 6A, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, Block VII, Waitoa Survey District, and Sections 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, Block XI, of the aforesaid survey district. Commencing at the northernmost corner of Te Tautiti No. 2A Block, bounded towards the south-east by Te Tautiti No. 2A Block, Thames Borough Council endowment, and that boundary produced across a public road; towards the north-east by a public road, across a public road, and again by a public road; again towards the south-east generally by Section 6B, Block VII, Waitoa Survey District, and Koromatua No. 1 Block; towards the south and south-west generally by the Waitoa River and a line to the westernmost corner of Section 37, Block XI, Waitoa Survey District; and towards the north-west by Crown land, across a public road, and again by Crown land to the place of commencement: save and excepting the roads intersecting the above-described area: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. No. 19463, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, Wellington, and thereon edged with green.
