Champion Road, in the Borough of Richmond, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twelfth day of March, 1915.

His Excellency the Governor in Council.
WHEREAS by subsection one of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is, inter alia, provided that the said section shall not apply in any case where the local authority having control of any road or street by resolution declares that the provisions thereof shall not apply to any specified road or street, or any specified part thereof, and such resolution is approved by the Governor in Council:
And whereas by subsection two of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is provided that such approval may be either absolute or subject to such conditions with respect to the building-line as the Governor, by Order in Council, thinks fit to impose:
And whereas the Richmond Borough Council, being the local authority having control of the street described in the Schedule hereto, did, by resolution, declare that the provisions of the said section one hundred and seventeen should not apply to the said street:
And whereas it is deemed expedient that such resolution should be approved:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the above-in-part-recited Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the said resolution in so far as it affects the said street described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that street in the Nelson Land District, Borough of Richmond, known as Champion Road, commencing at its junction with Salisbury Road, and proceeding thence in a south-easterly direction, adjoining Sections 69 and 70, Borough of Richmond, and terminating at its junction with Hill Street, being a distance of 40 chains, more or less; as the said street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 36891, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red.

Directing Sale of Land in Block V, Patutahi Survey District, under the Public Works Act, 1908.

At the Government House at Wellington, this twelfth day of March, 1915.

His Excellency the Governor in Council.
WHEREAS by the thirtieth section of the Public Works Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that if it is found that any land held, taken, purchased, or acquired at any time under this or any other Act or Provincial Ordinance, or otherwise howsoever for any public work, is not required for such public work, the Governor may, by an Order in Council publicly notified and gazetted, cause the same to be sold under the conditions set forth in the said Act:
And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto was taken under the Public Works Act, 1908, for the purposes of a post-office:
And whereas the said land is not now required for the public work for which it was taken, and it is desirable to sell the same:
And whereas a plan has been prepared, and the Minister has recommended the Governor to issue an Order in Council directing the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance of the powers and authority conferred upon him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby direct the sale of the said land.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of land directed to be sold: 2 acres 0 roods 12·9 perches.
Portion of Lot 1 of Section 6.
Situated in Block V, Patutahi Survey District.
In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 26800, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured green.

Declaring Portion of Lower Waitotara Valley Road, in the Patea County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twelfth day of March, 1915.

His Excellency the Governor in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of road in the Wellington Land District, Patea County, known as Lower Waitotara Valley Road, commencing at a point 38 chains north of the boundary between the Rangitatau No. 1d 2b and No. 1d 2A Blocks, Block V, Nukumaru Survey District; thence proceeding in a north-easterly direction generally adjoining or passing through Rangitatau No. 1d 2A Block aforesaid, Section 6 (scenic reserve), part Section 19 and Section 17, Block V aforesaid; thence including the Mangaone Stream Bridge, and terminating at the boundary between Sections 16 and 17, Block V aforesaid, being a distance of 2 miles 12 chains, more or less: as the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 37346, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured blue.
