Declaring Portion of Kawa Road, in the Waitomo County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twelfth day of March, 1915.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of road in the Waitomo County, Auckland Land District, known as Kawa Road, commencing at the boundary between West Taupo and Waitomo Counties in Block IX, Puniu Survey District; and proceeding thence in a westerly direction generally adjoining or passing through Ouruwhero No. 3 (02) and No. 3 (03) Blocks, Block IX, Puniu Survey District; Sections 11 and 14 (school-site), Block XIII, Puniu Survey District; Sections 21, 20 (E.R.), 4, and Section 17, reserve, Block XVI, Pirongia Survey District; and terminating at the western terminus of the road at the junction with the Otorohanga to Pirongia Road, being a distance of 4 miles 60 chains, more or less: as the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 34771, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red and lettered A B.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the streets described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be under the control and management of the Ohakune Borough Council.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that street in the Wellington Land District, Ohakune Borough, known as Awatea Street, commencing at its junction with Clyde Street, and proceeding in a north-easterly direction through Ohakune Township Extension No. 1, thence fronting Sections 1 to 9, Block XVIII, Ohakune Township, Sections 1 to 8, Block XIX, Ohakune Township, and terminating at its junction with Shannon Street, being a distance of 56 chains, more or less.
Also that street in the said land district and borough, known as Arawa Street, commencing at its junction with Clyde Street, and proceeding in a north-easterly direction fronting Sections 58, 39, 38, 37, 36, and 35, Town of Ohakune, Block V, Karioi Survey District, and terminating at its junction with Shannon Street, being a distance of 53 chains, more or less.
Also that street in the said land district and borough, known as Tainui Street, commencing at its junction with Clyde Street, and proceeding in a north-easterly direction fronting Sections 51, 47, 45, and 43, Town of Ohakune, Block V, Karioi Survey District, and terminating at its junction with Shannon Street, being a distance of 46 chains, more or less.
Also that street in the said land district and borough, known as Ruapehu Street, commencing at its junction with Clyde Street, and proceeding in a north-easterly direction generally, fronting Sections 49, 48, 46, 44, 33, 31, 29, 26, and 24, Town of Ohakune, Block V, Karioi Survey District; thence crossing the Main Trunk Railway and terminating at its junction with Thames Street, being a distance of 1 mile 24 chains, more or less.
Also that portion of street in the said land district and borough, known as Conway Street, commencing at its junction with Miro Street, and proceeding in a south-easterly direction, fronting Section 18, Block XVIII, Ohakune Township, and terminating at its junction with Arawa Street, being a distance of 6 chains or thereabouts.
Also that portion of street in the said land district and borough, known as Wye Street, commencing at its junction with Miro Street, and proceeding in a north-westerly direction, fronting Section 1, Block XIX, Ohakune Township, and terminating at its junction with Awatea Street, being a distance of 6 chains, more or less.
Also those portions of streets in the said land district and borough, known as Shannon Street, commencing at its junction with Awatea Street, and proceeding in a south-easterly direction, fronting Sections 8 and 9, Block XIX, Ohakune Township, and terminating at the junction with Arawa Street; thence commencing at the junction with Tainui Street, fronting Sections 43 and 44, Town of Ohakune, Block V, Karioi Survey District, and terminating at its junction with Ruapehu Street, being a total distance of 30 chains, more or less.
Also that street in the said land district and borough, known as Lee Street, commencing at its junction with Miro Road, and proceeding in a north-westerly direction, fronting Sections 10 and 11, Town of Ohakune, Block V, Karioi Survey District, and terminating at its junction with Manga-whero Terrace, being a distance of 11 chains, more or less.
Also that portion of street in the said land district and borough, known as Thames Street, commencing where it crosses the Main Trunk Railway-line by overhead bridge, and proceeding in a south-easterly direction generally, fronting Sections 20, 21, and 22, Town of Ohakune, Block V, Karioi Survey District, and terminating at its junction with Ruapehu Street, being a distance of 17·25 chains, more or less.
As the said streets are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 37246, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red.

License authorizing James Robertson, of Marton, to erect an Electric Line across High Street, in the Borough of Marton.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twelfth day of March, 1915.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section two of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1911, it is provided that no person shall lay, construct, put up, place, or use any electric line except under the authority of a license issued to him by the Governor in Council under that Act:
And whereas James Robertson, of Marton (hereinafter referred to as “the licensee”), desires to erect an electric line across High Street from the White Hart Hotel to the Town Hall in the Borough of Marton (hereinafter referred to as “the said electric line”): And whereas the Marton Borough Council has consented to the erection of the said electric line, and it is expedient accordingly to issue a license in respect thereof under the said section:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the said section, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth, subject to the conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto, hereby authorize the licensee to erect and maintain for lighting and power purposes the said electric line as indicated by a red line on the plan marked P.W.D. 36211, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District.

SCHEDULE.
CONDITIONS.
- THE potential difference between the two conductors or between either conductor and the earth shall not exceed 105 volts direct current, and the power supplied shall not exceed 4·75 kilowatts.
