THE following special order, made by the Wairau Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Road Boards Act, 1908.

WAIRAU ROAD BOARD.

Special Order passed on the 19th Day of December, 1914, and confirmed on the 5th Day of February, 1915.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Road Boards Act, 1908, the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908, the Public Works Act, 1908, the Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Act, 1909, and amendments thereof, the above Board authorizes a loan of £1,985 7s. 10d. for a term of thirty-six years and a half for the following purposes:—

To pay the Board’s share of the cost of the erection of the new Wairau Hospital, £1,385 7s. 10d.

To pay the Board’s share towards the cost of the erection of a bridge over the Opawa River at the end of Grove Road, Blenheim, £600.
