That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on such loans, the said Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of three one-hundredths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all the rateable property of the Wairau Road Board District; and that such rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of February in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan be paid off.
I hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a special order duly passed by the Wairau Road Board on Saturday, the 19th day of December, 1914, and confirmed on Friday, the 5th day of February, 1915.

Fixing Date on which certain Returns under the Fire Brigades Act, 1908, are to be furnished.

PURSUANT to section 22 of the Fire Brigades Act, 1908, it is hereby notified that the returns showing the total gross amount of the premiums received by or due to fire-insurance companies during the year ended 31st December, 1914, shall be transmitted to the Fire Boards concerned, in the manner prescribed by the said section, on or before the 31st day of May, 1915.

Notice as to Statutory Closing-day under the Shops and Offices Act, 1908.
NOTICE is hereby given that, in exercise of the powers in this behalf conferred upon me by the Shops and Offices Act, 1908, and in terms of notice in writing duly received by me from the Chairman of the conference of delegates of all the local authorities of the combined district of Whangarei and Kamo, as constituted for the purposes of that Act, and comprising the Borough of Whangarei and the Town District of Kamo, I, William Ferguson Massey, Minister of Labour, do hereby appoint Thursday to be the statutory closing-day for shops in the said combined district of Whangarei and Kamo.
Dated at Wellington this 22nd day of February, 1915.
