Amending the Regulations for the Occupation of Pastoral Lands within the Hauraki Mining District.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section three of the Land Act, 1908, and by section thirty-eight of the Mining Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby amend the regulations for the occupation of pastoral lands in the Hauraki Mining District (made by Warrant of the twenty-sixth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, and published in the Gazette of the third day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen) as follows :-
(a.) By deleting from subclause (1) of regulation 1 the words “and the areas described in the First Schedule hereto.”
(b.) By deleting from subclause (2) of the same regulation the word “second.”
(c.) By deleting the First Schedule to the said regulations.
(d.) By deleting the word “Second” in the heading of the Second Schedule to the said regulations.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this eighteenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen.

Notifying Lands in Auckland Land District for Sale by Public Auction.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-twenty-sixth section of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominon of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Friday, the thirtieth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, as the time at which the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction; and I do hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
TOWN LAND.
Waikato County.—Town of Rangiriri.
SECTION 71 : Area, 1 rood ; upset price, £7 10s. Altitude, 30 ft. to 50 ft. above sea-level. Level land, partly swamp. Brown soil of good quality, on clay subsoil; watered by swamp. Situated at the corner of Phelp and Chevalier Streets.
Manukau County.—Town of Howick.
Lot 3, Section 3 : Area, 1 rood 29 perches ; upset price, £30. Altitude, 50 ft. to 75 ft. above sea-level. Level to slightly undulating land, covered with gorse. Soil a stiff clay, on sandstone formation; watered by small stream. Distant about 25 chains from Howick Wharf.
VILLAGE LAND.
Otamatea County.—Town of Tokatoka.
Section 25 : Area, 2 roods 2 perches; upset price, £4. Nearly all rich swamp, balance undulating. Situated about 25 chains from Tokatoka Wharf.
RURAL LAND.
Franklin County.—Waiau Parish.
Section 51 : Area, 91 acres 0 roods 12 perches; upset price, £365. Altitude, 10 ft. to 150 ft. above sea-level. Undulating land, covered with manuka and fern; all ploughable. Brown soil of fair quality, on clay subsoil; poorly watered. Distant six miles from Patumahoe Post-office by clay road, good in summer; or two miles and a half by water from steamer landing on Waiuku River.
Waipa County.—Ngaroto Parish.
Section 37 : Area, 36 acres 3 roods 2 perches; upset price, £185. Level land, covered with manuka, gorse, and blackberry, and a belt of pines comprising about 5 acres. Soil of fair quality; water can only be obtained by sinking. Situated at Te Pahu, three miles from Pirongia by good road.

Raglan County.—Waipa Parish.
Section 46 : Area, 4 acres 3 roods 15 perches; upset price, £170. Altitude, 50 ft. to 100 ft. above sea-level. Undulating fern and manuka land. Soil of a sandy nature, on pumice formation; well watered by streams. Distant about half a mile from Ngaruawahia Post-office and Railway-station by formed road.

Opening Settlement Lands in Marlborough Land District for Selection.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Land Act, 1908, and the Land for Settlements Act, 1908, and amendments, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the settlement lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for selection on renewable lease on Friday, the ninth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, at the rentals mentioned in the said Schedule; and I do also declare that the said lands shall be leased under and subject to the provisions of the said Acts.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION.
This block, known as the Wither Run, is situated from a mile and a half to five miles and a half from Blenheim Post-office. Access is by good metalled roads. Well watered generally by natural streams, some of which, however, give out in a dry season; water can be obtained by sinking. Sections 1 to 6 are all agricultural land and suitable for fruit-growing. Part Section 15 could be used for dairying or fruit-growing, balance of sections suitable for stock only. The block is clear of all noxious weeds. The altitude varies from 60 ft. to 1,500 ft. above sea-level. Existing fences are shown on sale plan, and are included in cost of sections.
DEScriptions OF SECTIONS.
Sections 1 to 6.—Altitude, 60 ft. to 80 ft. above sea-level. Distant from Blenheim Post-office two miles to two miles and a half—two miles good metalled road. Water may be obtained by sinking. The land is practically level, with a good fall for drainage; well adapted for fruit-growing and agricultural purposes. Sections 1 and 2 somewhat light and stony, balance good soil. Fencing is included in the price of the sections as follows : Section 1, 30 chains, valued at £27 ; Section 2, 31 chains, valued at £18 ; Section 3, 6 chains, valued at £5 10s. ; Section 4, 6 chains, valued at £5 10s. ; Section 5, 6 chains, valued at £5 10s. ; Section 6, 31 chains, valued at £11 10s.
Section 9.—Altitude, from 70 ft. to 1,400 ft. above sea-level. About 60 acres agricultural land, practically all level.
